• PMS Team o DIA Member o DSLD Member o DRS Member

• Questions: o De Jesus: If the project doesn’t go through the budget, do we have to go through

the PMS still? Alejo: Yes. But the problem is what if there’s an inuman project wherein you

don’t ask budget from the CB? Then that’s where the Top8 meeting comes in because the meeting will determine if the projects are in line with the Sanggu vision-mission or core competencies. If you insist on doing it, then the control mechanism with top 8 will intervene.

o Supetran: When are we going to get the PMS teams? Alejo: That’s my deliverable. Give us a few more weeks to do assign people.

Liang posted the concept form for our project.

• This week will be the archiving of resolutions and documentations • Each school board knowledge management

Profiling • Will these be case studies or as general as it can be? Like, up to

how many will you be looking at? o It depends on the methodology but we’ll make sure it’s

representative of each school • What do you think will be the methodology esp. for SOSS?

o We can do SOSS first and then make it course-specific. Motivation and Participation

• Is it a study of COA orgs, mainly? o Yes, COA orgs. And the best practices, we’re coordinating

with DEA • INAF programs

o Coordinate with CFS now because if it’s too late, they might already have a fixed module already

ASCC • It might be hard to gather data every month, but it would still be a

reliable sample naman if you do it every 2 to 3 months o In DRS, we have a panel. It’s 300 people to represent

Ateneo. So since they accepted to be a part of a panel, we can direct our studies toward them

• So you’re gonna study every month, then what will happen? o We’re gonna make recommendations and present it to CB

• How effective are our response to concerns? o Have post evaluations if concerns were really answered or

not. • Do you have manpower?

o We structured it after CODE, then we create studies based on teams. We’re targeting 50-60 member so kaya. If we lack manpower, we can do the 2 months things

• How many have applied already? o Right now, we have around 35 students.

Facilities Study • By July, I hope there are results so we can catch up with the Budget

Committee • Probably fix the methodology so it’s representative. • Separate the per School concerns vs. General concerns in the

survey • DIA c/o Liang Borlagdan

• Encourage ateneans to practice everyday leadership through simple reminders in the form of standees

• September 2012 ASLA

• 5-day leadership congress with 50 participants • empower leaders to go back to their communities with an even

greater desire to serve more and do more • create ripples of change • October 24 – 28, 2012

Leadership Road Trip (LRT) • 5-day leadership congress for graduating students • road trip around luzon with stops featuring leadership and

inspirational talks and cultural immersion • Further widen the perspectives of the participants and empower

them as responsible, powerful citizens of the country • Alternative to Silent retreat • Early March 2013

o Concerns ASLA

• Who are the participants? o 2 nationals per university, then the rest AdMU o 50 because we would really want it to be focused

• What years are allowed? o 1st – 3rd because we’re hoping that before they go out, they

have to have grounded perspectives in the Ateneo community

o It has a transition as well so that it’s not sudden • May output ba yung participants?

o The ASLA congress is part of the one big Ateneo Student Leaders Assembly. Afterwards, it doesn’t end. We have follow throughs because the facilitators will follow up and constantly update the ASLA program on what’s happening

o We try to help each other with our networks as well o We also have batch projects, for example, Batch 9, we

created a leadership project for Mauban o Batch 8 had an ASLA with the Dumagats in Antipolo o Conducted trainings with Urban Poor

LRT • Won’t most of the time be spend on transportation for LRT?

o There are no clear programs yet so we’re still working on it but we’re going to look for sponsorships for accomodation, lodging, etc. for the whole project.

o Rationale on why it’s a roadtrip is because it’s to widen the scope as well as a vacation-like thing.

• COA did something like this some years back, is that based on that concept?

o It’s different • The whole duration, how long will it be? Because we did something

like that back then, it was just 3 days with the Aeta community. There might be a bigger effect if you focus on one rather than paiba-iba

• Coordinate with OSCI • How do you choose who gets to go?

o Who is willing because there’s a fee. There’s no application process yet. As of now, there’s no limit yet. We’re still going to talk about that

o Alejo: Who will be in the dinner? Torres: ExeCom, and the presidents of the SOSS organizations.

o Dumaliang: If you guys know the supplier next time, I think it is easy to know the actual cost per unit. We want to minimize excess budget next time so please canvas properly and put the actual amounts so we can avoid bloating the budget.

Potenciano: Is it not precisely the purpose of the cap cost to not bloat the budget?

• Dumaliang: Yes, but if we can have the exact price, like below 80, then we can request a lower budget from OSA, and our total budget [as Sanggu] will become lower.

• Tie-up with COSA

o Lucero: ano yung 22? Final na number na ba yun na advertisement for COSA? Torres: we pay them every end of semester.

o Lucero: That’s the relationship with CoSA? Potenciano: We base it on how many projects we have for the whole

semester. And they said we could change it, if ever. They also told us that we can pay at the end of the semester and that this is going to be the budget.

o Odulio: We have DPR, so why is there a need for COSA? Potenciano: branding is serious business. I’ve spent a month in a branding

company. But we do not have enough branding people which is precisely why I’m outsourcing it from CoSA.

o Lucero: In that respect, maybe we can lend a hand. If we can find cheaper alternatives, we should. We have a lot of unaccredited artists in SOH.

Potenciano: Let us know. o Yllana: Suggestion, can we run down all expenses before approving because some

might be interconnected. • Freshman Night

o Barcelon: If we fund those [fedora hats and grass skirts], those will become properties of Sanggu. So where do we plan to keep that? Have you looked at other alternatives?

Andamo: we can borrow the hats but the grass skirts, we can’t. Araneta: If we rent it in New Manila, it’s 600 per skirt plus rental deposit.

o Dela Cruz: The crepe paper, I think there’s an error. Torres: the total cost is wrong

o Dela Cruz: I saw the costs of the cartolina and it’s inconsistent Andamo: The cartolinas are different. The other ones are felt paper so it

has a different texture o Dumaliang: Maintenance overtime, technician overtime. Maintenance is for 5 hours;

technician is for 3 hours, tama ba? I’m just concerned na hindi sila sabay. Torres: The technician has to stay during the program itself, but the janitor

has to be there after [to clean up]. o Sison: What colors will you be using?

Torres: Green and Brown • Sison: We still have 2 brown and 1 green crepe paper in the storage

room. They’re unused so you can minimize costs by using those. o Borlagdan: Diba sa cocktail tables, rationale is paguuwi na sila, aantayin nalang yung kanilang

sundo. Worry ko lang is dinner for everyone parin, pero ung naiisip kong situation is that konti lang tapos aalis na sila.

Torres: No, the dinner is enough for everyone. They might just leave by the way.

Araneta: It’s snacks, so that they can eat while waiting for their sundo. Torres: But then, wouldn't they be there at the cocktail tables the whole

time? o Borlagdan: That’s not my issue. My issue is that may kukuha ng food, tapos aalis na sila.

So like ung dinner is for everyone na kumpleto parin, tapos ung nakikita na situation is that hindi lahat andyan para kumain.

Araneta: Lahat kakain, but not everyone will have to stay on the table, kasi they’re eating finger food, so they can manage to stand.

Torres: Which is why we didn't prepare a program for that part, just the food lang. They can leave right after they eat.

Mendoza: They’re not going to be leaving at the same time. We’re going to make them leave one by one. One row, get your food, then the next row, get your food.

• Alejo: Encourage them to eat even if they’re about to go.

o Araneta: It’s going to be festive. They can just keep getting and getting. There’s like 10,000 [fish]balls.

o Andamo: Our situation is that not everyone will stay. Maybe we can lessen the cost of our cocktail tables. Maybe we can get less cocktail tables.

o Araneta: Actually, I disagree, because we’re talking like 500 people. We're not sure if they’re really going to leave or if they are going to stay.

Araneta: I don't know. 15 perhaps? • Andamo: Maybe 15 is good enough. • Araneta: Kasi if you think about it, 15

cocktail tables can fit 3 people. o Barcelon: How are you going to divide the fedora hats?

Torres: We’re scrapping the fedora hats. o Dumaliang: what’s the food?

Araneta: Kikiam, fishballs, etc. • SOSA: State of the School Address

Potenciano: I think you can remove one tarp. I’d like one tarp only that I can reuse over and over again.
