New & Improved!! CUSD Homework Policy…

Class assignments and homework are ultimately your child’s responsibility. Missing assignments, not practicing math facts or reading at night can negatively impact students’ performance.

Students should spend no more than 20-30 minutes on homework each night, be in bed at a decent time, and rest for the next day.

Homework consists of practicing Math Facts, nightly reading & recording # pages read in the Reading Log. (~100 pages/week)

Work not completed in class will be finished during recess or in Friday study hall. Quarterly book projects completed at home.

If you and your child wish to work on any concepts further, please visit our classroom website for more on-line resources & activities.
