SAPUVETNET III PROJECT
Any modification that man does has a practical consequence!
Our actions and the way they impact on the environment refer to different areas of knowledge; we need to implement a new way to work in Public Health, positioning different professionals working together practicing multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary.
SAPUVETNET III PROJECT
Veterinary Public Health can and should colaborate in six Millenium
Devolepments Goals, contributing for a better health (goal n. 4 , 5 and
6 ) better food safety and security (goal n. 1 ), bettter educaction (goal
2 ) , environmental health (goal n.7 ) and helping to
develop a trade system which is open, rule-based, predictable and non-
discriminatory (goal 8 ) .
How to do That???
SAPUVETNET III PROJECT
WHAT KIND OF PUBLIC HEALTH DO WE WANT???
•Are we training professionals able to respond to the future challenges and (re-)emerging issues?
•Which skills and competencies should they have?
•What are the methodologies most appropriate for the "awakening" and the mobilization towards a multidisciplinary approach to health problems?
•What structural and organizational changes are required?
SAPUVETNET III PROJECT
The Project SAPUVETNET III proposed to start this debate and
invited potential bidders to participate!
