What is considered to be Improper Displays of Affection at Novinger?

• At Novinger High School: pg 22 of the Student Handbook reads…“Improper Display of Affection – Consensual

kissing, fondling or embracing.”

What happens if I get caught at Novinger?

• First offense: Principal/Student Conference or 1-180 days out-of-school or in-school suspension and possible documentation in student’s discipline record.

• Subsequent Offense: 1-180 days of out-of-school or in-school suspension and documentation in student’s discipline record.

Improper Display of Affection at Extra-curricular activities

• IDA can also be seen at sporting events and assemblies.

• Leaning back against an individual in this manner can be considered IDA.

• Remember you represent Novinger HS even when you are a spectator.
