There will be total of 200 Questions spread across four following sections: Logical Reasoning Data Interpretation Verbal Reasoning General Awareness/ Computers/ Marketing The Part A has to be completed by the candidates in 2 hours. Part B will be a described paper consisting of total 5 Questions and to be completed in an hour. Following is the tabular presentation of the objective Paper: Total Marks 200 Total Number of Questions 200 Total Number of sections 4 Questions per section 50 Options 5 Marks per section 1 Negative Marking 0.25 Below mentioned is the section wise analysis and Breakup: A) Logical Reasoning: In this section if the candidate can make up to 35 to 40 questions with an 90% accuracy can turn out to be in favor of the candidate. STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) 2014 QUESTION PAPER ANALYSIS

The SBI PO 2014 exam will be be divided or segmented into two portions:

Part A will have objective based questions of 200 marks. There will be total of 200 Questions spreadacross four following sections:

Logical ReasoningData InterpretationVerbal ReasoningGeneral Awareness/ Computers/ Marketing

The Part A has to be completed by the candidates in 2 hours.

Part B will be a described paper consisting of total 5 Questions and to be completed in an hour.

Analysis of the Descriptive Paper:

This section is likely to five questions to be completed within an hours time.

Letter Writing (one of three choices)

1. write a letter to your sibling explaining the importance of saving money.2. write a letter to the bank manager for extension of joining date.3. As a manager, write a letter to the employees to conduct a meeting to discuss PR strategy

Essay Writing (one of three choices)

1. Security of women in the workplace, a cause of increasing concern2. entrance exams – a necessary evil3. pros and cons of inflation

Paragraph writing (one of three choices)

1. Importance of education in vernacular languages2. pros and cons of winning lotteries3. Do brokers deserve the cut they make on deals?

Reading Comprehension

Passage on wire transfer followed by 5 Questions. Ever year there is a different passage and there arequestions related to the passage.

Precis Writing (Not more than 130 words)

Passage based on corporate social responsibility. The topic differs every year but there is topic given basedon which the candidate has to do precis writing of not more than 130 words.
