MIPC is the leading plastics industry conference in Malaysia. It is organised once every two years. The objective of the conference is to provide information on the challenges, opportunities and prospects of the Malaysian plastics industry, as well as the latest in leading edge technologies and solutions for plastics manufacturers to become globally competitive.

MPMA is of the view that in order to achieve a high income society by the year 2020, there is a need for the Malaysian plastics industry to reshape its current business practices so as to move up the value chain by way of automation and product innovation, and to reduce the dependency on unskilled foreign labour. Thus, the theme for the 7th MIPC 2014 - “Reshaping to Meet Increasing Challenges” has been chosen to provide the platform for an active exchange of views on the challenges and opportunities in the plastics industry, as well as to provide participants with the latest in technology and business strategies to reshape business, from both local and foreign experts.

Industry experts from Europe and Australia have agreed to speak and share their technical knowledge and experiences at the MIPC, together with local industry captains in human resources, investment trends and SME development.

The highlight of the Conference will be a plenary session entitled “Challenges on Competiveness and Viability”. It promises to be an exciting platform to debate the issues related to the topic and provides the answers to the key question: “How can the plastics industry, especially the SMEs, change the way of doing business to be more competitive for long term survival and growth”

The 7th MIPC is an event not to be missed by the business community related to the plastics sector.

Chief Executive Ofcers, Managing Directors, Technical Directors, General Managers, R&D Managers, Manufacturing Process Engineers, Plant and Factory Managers, Consultants and Researchers, Academicians, all those who are involved in the plastics industry.
