Easy and intuitive scanning with ScanFlowStore on a Xerox Workcentre 7425/7428/7435Digital archiving with ScanFlowStore is just as easy as making a copy. With one press of a button, a Xerox Workcentre 7425/7428/7435 creates a digital copy which is stored anywhere. ScanFlowStore ensures that the document is stored in the proper folder as a text searchable document. With ScanFlowStore InterActive client it is possible to have real time bi-directional communication with your network, meaning that it is now even easier to specify the repository for a scanned document, directly from your Xerox Workcentre 7425/7428/7435.

Scan directly into Windows file structureFor scanning a document, simply put it on the Xerox MFP and enter the destination of the document on the display of the MFP. It’s even possible to browse through your Windows file structure directly from the MFP and easily select the folder to store a document in. New folders can also be created directly on the display of the MFP. After pressing the start button, the document is stored as a text searchable PDF, Word, Excel, Tiff, OpenOffice or Jpeg file in the selected location.

Scan to anywhereWhen using a business application, like Microsoft SharePoint, Xerox DocuShare or any other business applications, all information about business relations, invoices and projects is listed in the database of the application. ScanFlowStore can store documents directly in the right location in your business application, by answering one or two questions on the MFP. Scanning with barcodesScanFlowStore has the possibility to read and interpret many standard barcode fonts. Use this for batch scanning and to eliminate manual user data entry at the MFP. With a barcode separation sheet, batch scanning (high volumes) becomes possible. When scanning batches, all of these will be separated into multiple documents. Each document can then be routed to a destination and/or uniquely named based on the value of the barcode.

Personalized templatesScanFlowStore can integrate with authentication applications, like Xerox Secure Access, Equitrac or SafeCom to identify the MFP

user. Users can log on to the device by swiping a smart card or entering a pin code, which allows access to all personalized scan templates like their email address or home directory, without the need of entering extra information on the MFP.

Intelligent filingScanFlowStore can store documents in the correct folder if it already exists. Otherwise, folder & file names are created

automatically based on date, time, data, etc.

Interactive communicationThe InterActive Client uses bi-directional communication to allow real time access to any database from the MFP user interface.

From this database users may select the appropriate customer, creditor or any other variable that is specified. This can be a database from a Windows file structure or any database from your business application.

No client applicationScanFlowStore resides on one centralized server from which all templates can be managed and is only accessed by the IT

administrator. It requires no software to be installed on individual user workstations. This allows for easy installation and eliminates the need for end user training. In the end, this will result in minimal need of IT management to keep it up and running.
