Description The Aspiring Principals Leadership Program, Saturday Academy will offer several modules which will focus on

Description Telfair Museums proposes a STEAM professional development day with workshops on several activities that achieve

Course DI002 Building Teachers Capacity To Meet The Needs Of All Learners
Description Join us as we look at ways to incorporate differentiated instruction into the classroom. Methods of differentiation will
be investigated and modeled for participants. Teachers will investigate Instructional Strategies that support a
Differentiated classroom and are align with Georgia Standards of Excellence. In addition, time will be set aside for
developing lessons and tasks that participants will be able to implement in their own classrooms. This is sure to be a
job-embedded professional learning experience that will positively impact teacher practice and student achievement.
In this Differentiation Series course, teachers will also practice using diagnostic, formative, and summative
assessment data to inform instructional decisions for their students. This course will support TKES Standards:
2(Instructional Planning), 3 (Instructional Strategies), 4 (Differentiated Instruction), 6 (Assessment Uses), 7 (Positive
Learning Environment), and 8 (Academically Challenging Environment) will be addressed at this training.
Each participant will be given an e-book of Leading and Managing a Differentiated Classroom by Carol Ann
Thomlinson & Marcia B. Imbeau at the end of this course.

create bell ringers (hooks) for an opening, explains through demonstration what a work session and closing looks like
in a social studies course. The framework will support instruction that is aligned to the social studies standards and
meets the learning needs of all students.
Teachers will use their standards in order to create an instructional framework for each set of standards as it relates to
the curriculum map.
