INTRODUCTION TIME: 15MINS

In pairs, young people should discuss how school supports their achievement and how they think it can stop them from achieving; examples include large classes, good teachers, use of youth workers and outside organisations in school, bullying, lack of support for extra-curricular activities etc.

Young people should think of at least two ways that school can improve their achievement and two ways in which it can prevent their achievement
