ABOUT THE SURVEY

• Adapted from Teaching Tolerance School Climate Questionnaire (Teaching Tolerance School Climate

Questionnaire)

• Surveys were available for students in grades 3-12, parents, and teachers.

• Surveys were available from January 28th to February11th, 2019.

• Number of respondents in each group:

• Students, Grades 3 & 4: 194

• Students, Grades 5-12: 925

• Families/Parents: 625

• Teachers: 110

STUDENT FEEDBACK SURVEY-GRADES 3 & 4

• Students know who to go to for help if they are bullied. Yes: 88% No: 6%

• I feel safe telling teacher about bullies at my school. Yes: 74% No: 13%

• I feel safe and welcome at my school. Yes: 73% No: 8%

• Other students feel safe and welcome at my school. Yes: 41% No: 2%

• Winhawk Way (PBIS) pillars to support safety, respect and responsibility through homeroom lessons, assemblies, and daily
