GENERAL INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES All days are subject to bookings and fees will apply if 7 (seven) days notice is not given.
Booked programs may change due to
unforeseen circumstances.
It is important that you call the Centre ASAP if your
child/ren is unable to attend on their booked day.
Children need to bring at least ‘one’ filled drink bottle, a packed lunch, unless otherwise specified on the program, and activity/weather-appropriate clothing, including a hat, every day. Their tops need to cover shoulders and back, i.e. no singlet tops. Please send children to care with appropriate clothing including closed-in, comfortable shoes where possible - no thongs. We provide a small morning and afternoon snack everyday. Please remember that being physical most of the day increases children’s appetite. So ensure that your child/ren has sufficient food for the day. Any Medication that comes into the Centre, must be in its original packaging, labelled with the child’s name and dosage information. All Medication is to be given to staff and appropriate paperwork completed.

WEEK 1
Monday 10 July All About Me Day
Let’s begin our holidays with some yoga and
meditation. Create our own face masks just using
everyday ingredients.
Tuesday 11 July Paper Plane ‘Glider’ Day
We will try and create many different designs, test
our planes and compete with your own original
creation.
Wednesday 12 July Dance and Music Day
Bring your dancing moves and shoes and if you
have one, an instrument to share so we can create
our music and dances.
Local Excursion Day
9.30am-11am Blue Edge Bakery
Today we will all enjoy a walk to our local bakery
where we will enjoy a yummy morning tea treat.
Friday 14 July Board and Card Games Day
Select from our many games or try and make your
own version. Enjoy playing with a friend and let the
competition begin.
WEEK 2
Monday 17 July Portrait sketching,
Using charcoal or pencil as your medium, draw a
friend or yourself with the help of a mirror. We will
frame our art work for all to admire.
Tuesday 18 July Local Excursion Day
10.30am-12.30pm Foreshore track
Join us for a walk from Waub’s Bay to Redbill
Beach and bring your sturdy shoes and jacket as
we have rocks to jump and it might be chilly.
Wednesday 19 July Be a Cook for a Day
Let’s get cooking today as we decide on a recipe,
check out the ingredients, do a little supermarket
shopping and then create a tasty dish.
Thursday 20 July Science Day
Hope you like science, as today we will have a
helper attend today to share their secret slime
recipes plus other interesting experiments to try.
Friday 21 July Construction Day
Using an assortment of material, today you can
plan and build a unique masterpiece to take
home.
Monday 24 July Student Free Day
Movies, Popcorn and Hot Chocolate!
Bring your own movie or select one of ours.
Get cosy on a cushion and snuggle down under a
blanket. Enjoy a relaxing day before school starts
tomorrow. (P and PG movies only)

Hazards identified are: Children being on unregistered premises. Access to traffic – i.e. crossing roads. Challenging play equipment (different parks) and sports activities. Activities in open areas including open water (beach areas). Travel sickness Exposed to water
Management of identified hazards will include: Children will display organisation’s mobile phone number on their name tags. All children and educators are to wear NCN’s high visibility vests. Minimum ratio of one adult to ten children on excursions. Minimum ratio of one adult to five children on swimming excursions. A person who holds a bronze medallion will be available at every swimming outing. Hazards will vary depending on the excursion planned on the day. The activities that are available on each excursion vary and the purposes of all excursions are to provide children with recreational and educational experiences. I consent to my child/ren travelling by bus, car or walking to the excursion.
