The vast universe is filled with millions of stars that are not enoughto light this extensive universe. This is because there are billionkilometers of cold dark space among these stars.
Everything changes in the universe. On Earth, generations ofhumans and living organisms change. The same goes for stars as theyalways change so that the universe is never constant.
All galaxies get away from each other very fast. The universe iscontinuously in a state of expansion.

The first term - Unit Four
The reason behind creation is the continuity of species. This isto keep the living organisms from extinction and ensure their interaction with environment.
This occurs through reproduction that basically takes placethrough the continual divisions of cells. Cellular divison differs among different living organisms. It includes two types of divisions:
Mitosis that aims to increase the number of cells. Meiosis that aims to decrease the number of chromosomes to half during the formation of gametes.
Reproduction is classified according to the species of livingorganisms: simple living organisms are divided asexually to produce offspring identical to parents, whereas other complex living organisms reproduce sexually sexual reproducation are a source of genetic variation.
