Message from our Superintendent / PreK-12 Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
April is upon us already! As the weather turns warmer and the grass turns greener, it begins to pull
all of us out of the winter doldrums and into the busy time of spring! During this time of year, there
seems to be some school event every day of the week! I enjoy watching and supporting our
students perform and compete in the various activities that our students are involved in throughout
our school district. I am always amazed by the talent and how our students represent our
community! It is another reason I am proud to be a Silver Eagle!
As a school district, we know we can always improve in some areas and your input is always
welcome and helpful in making us turn our attention to some areas of growth. Your positive
partnership along this educational journey is critical and appreciated! If there are ever any areas of
improvement you would like us to know about, please communicate these ideas with your child’s
teacher or myself. We want to provide the best education experience for each child as they move
through our school district. Once again, thanks for taking the time to be an involved parent.
As we head down the final backstretch of the school year, your support with your child’s learning
will be even more critical. I know students are counting the days until summer, but we have a lot of
work still to do! Please encourage them to stay focused on academics until the end of the year.
Your support is so important to the overall success of another positive school year!
Sincerely,
Emily Miller
Superintendent
