General Microbiology in Poland

During this five-week program, explore the medical science of microbiology through lectures and lab exercises guided by expert faculty. An industry site tour introduces students to industrial microbiology.

Students will take a guided trip to the medieval city of Krakow, hike the picturesque Karkonosze Mountains and — during free weekends — have opportunities to explore such nearby cities as Warsaw, Berlin, Prague and others.

Stay in one of two 18-story residences for international students that provide a panoramic view of the city from near the city center.

“The program was one of my most memorable Clemson moments that I will hold on to for life. We were immersed in a culture not many people fully appreciate. Both scientific and cultural values of Poland were explored.”
