[Scene oneINT. Pollys Bedroom](FX. Rain is heard thundering on the window in a dead room.) 1Polly:(Timid) IM still wearing my uniform mum always tells me off for wearing my uniform after school, she always says2Mother:(ANGRY) Polly, what have I told you!? Take that filthy clothing off at once!3Polly: She scares me some times.(FX. Crumple paper)In maths today, Tom gave me a note telling me to meet him during lunch. He didnt buy me Malteasers this morning, so I bought him a fruit winder and a curly wurly. Ill give it to him at lunch! Mrs Morris always lets us out early. 4Father:(Coming from downstairs) YOU STUPID FUCKING CUNT! (FX. Thud)5 Narrator:(TWO BEAT) Polly froze as the words pierced her ears. The sound of a distorted nature grasped her body as she attempted to climb off her bed and edge towards the door. (FX. Door Opens)She creeps out slowly, bare foot towards the top of the stairs, clutching the banister as if it was her only safety. 6Polly: (PANICKED) I peered over to see my mum! Lying on the floor! 7Narrator: She rushed back to the safe haven she called her room and grabbed the nearest object to use to arm herself from the unknown. Polly stood with her ear to the door before exiting clutching a pair of hair straighteners. (FX. Door Opens)

1Stiffly she shuffled back to her spot at the top of the stairs to be enlightened that her mother had dispersed. A shot of relief fell over her body as she tried to piece together the evidence within her head, was her mother ok? One stair at a time she edged towards the lair of the demon, clasping the straighteners close to her chest. Eyes darting back and fourth to target the enemy, but every possible sight were clear. Shed reached the living room and still no sign of mum.(FX. Soft Breathing)2Polly: (WHISPER) Mum?3Narrator: A large older man stood before her, clenching the remains of his whiskey bottle as he softly cried into the air. The look of repent was nowhere to be seen within his facial expressions. He was an intimidating man, almost twice Pollys size. Offspring only have their parents to gain a sense of the world from, this is how they learn and grow. One day she couldve been like her father, but in reality, would she have wanted to be.(Large room ambience)4 Forensic Pathologist: (Fade in ambience) In response to a request from Sargent Woodstock of the Metropolitan Police, I have reviewed my report and photos of the autopsy of Polly Green and the follow up scene investigation. It is my opinion, within a reasonable degree of medical and scientific certainty, the lacerations to the cranium and fractured skull indicate from a striking to the head by a bottle of whiskey. Furthermore, abrasions were also detected around the vagina, indicating possible forced entry within the time frame of the past two weeks. This looks to have happened on multiple events.
