Direct School Admission-‐ JC An admission exercise to allow JCs/

Ins3tu3ons to select some Secondary 4/5 students for admission to JC1 based on

their achievements and talents before the GCE ‘O’ Level examina3on results are

released.



Direct Polytechnic Admission (DPA) A chance for students to secure a place in a polytechnic course of their choice before they take the O levels. Once they do get in, they need to make sure they meet the minimum entry requirements (MER)

at the O levels



Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) An ap3tude-‐based admission

exercise that allows students to apply and receive condi3onal offers for

admission to the polytechnics based on their ap3tudes and interests, prior

to receiving their final grades
