SECOND PROVISIONAL SELECT LIST

1. In Pursuance to the Notification dated: 07.06.2018 cited at reference-I, recruitment

process to fill up 12 posts of Detective Sub-Inspector (Men & Women) including HK was'

initiated and after completing the recruitment process as per all the procedures laid down in the

Cadre and Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2013 & 2016, Provisional Select List cited at

reference-2 was published on 21.12.2018.

2. Whereas, after publishing Provisional Select List for the above post, selected candidates

were subjected for Medical Examination before duly constituted Medical Board. After the

medical examination, the report of the medical examination has been sent by the Director

General of Police, CID, SU & EO, Bengaluru vide letter cited at reference-3.

3. Whereas, as prescribed in the Cadre & Recruitment (Amendment) Rules called "the

Karnataka State Police Services (Investigation Force) (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2013",

after the medical examination the Selection Authority has to prepare Second Provisional Select

List on the basis of result of the medical examination. This being the position, the following is

the Second Provisional Select List of the candidates selected for the post of Detective Sub-

Inspector including -HK in order of merit.

a) This list is subject to the verification of relevant documents like Proof of Age,

Educational Qualification, Selection Category / Group, Community/Caste, Rural,

Kannada Medium, Eligibility Certificate (HK), Project Displaced Person etc., issued by

the competent Authorities and verification of Character & Antecedents of the candidates.

b) The fact that the name of the candidate figures in this list does not give him/her any legal

right for appointment to the post which will be dependent on the aforesaid condition.

c) This select list is subject to the final decision of the Hon'ble Karnataka State

Administrative Tribunal! Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka / Hon'ble Supreme Court of

India.
