Senate Bill X7-7
SB X7- 7 enacted as part of “water package”
Requires ag suppliers to prepare and submit a plan to DWR, measure deliveries and charge by volume
Places 20% goal in statute for urban agencies; establishes the process to achieve savings
Conditions future state water loans and grants to compliance
Directs state agencies to work together and standardize water suppliers data reporting

Task Force Purpose

DWR’s Functions
Ensure that the goals and objectives of the law are met.
Provide advice in public meeting act requirements.
Provide communication between CII TF and USC and inform CII TF of other SBx7-7 projects.
Attend CII TF and Project Team meetings and provide data, information, and staff support.
Jointly with CII TF prepare the final report and submit the report to the legislature and the public.
