A spirit of discovery and play, the flexibility of mind and body, a dynamic nature. The Oasis identity reflects simplicity in expression. A slinky toy may well have inspired our logo. You could even imagine it as a vast rainbow across a bright blue sky, or the stretching of the creative mind of a young child.

LEARN THROUGH TECHNOLOGY

We use blended learning to enhance understanding through virtual classroom instruction by elite international faculty. Going beyond the conventional, our classrooms are equipped with virtual learning technology platforms to make the learning journey more enjoyable for students. This helps students to bridge the oceans of knowledge in an immersive, experience learning driven environment.

Virtual Learning classrooms are conducted twice a week. Workshops on Robotics, IoT etc are conducted regularly to inspire the naturally creative minds of students.

OASIS International School is one of the first schools in India to get certified as a Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications (PDQ) Centre. 60% of our staff have the Cambridge Qualification in teaching and learning.

For example, drama helps students communicate and collaborate better with a show and tell approach, react spontaneously to challenges and take greater risks. GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES

We follow the Cambridge Global Perspectives programme. This is a unique, transformational programme that helps students at every stage of school education to develop outstanding transferable skills, including critical thinking, research and collaboration.

The programme taps into the way today’s students enjoy learning, including group work, seminars, projects and working with other students around the world.

QUALITY CIRCLE TIME

Our faculty is trained in Jenny Mosley’s concept of Quality Circle Time (QCT). This creates an opportunity for students to share their feelings in an emotionally safe and sensitive atmosphere. Quality Circle Time has proven successful in promoting better relationships and helps with positive behaviour management of children.

We will soon offer a 24x7 Student Assistance Programme (SAP) as a helpline and support system for students and their families.

MINDFULNESS TRAINING AND MENTAL HEALTH

At Oasis International School mindfulness training helps build resilience in students and improves their mental health. Students face a lot of stress and anxiety everyday, and this can be attributed to various external factors. Against this scenario, mindfulness training is emerging as an increasingly effective method for mentors to prepare the next generation of change makers.

SERVICE LEARNING PROGRAMME (SLP)

Service Learning Programme (SLP) is a parent led experiential programme, aimed at developing the universal values of empathy, gratitude, love and respect, through the medium of community service. The programme was conceptualised keeping in mind the school’s vision of making students conscious of their social responsibility towards the less fortunate and emerge as contributing members of the society. Our students also participate actively in projects and activities with organisations such as Bal-Janagraha, which aims to motivate and create social and civic awareness in them.

Counselling and Career Guidance right from middle school to high school. This expands the professional horizons of our students and helps them to excel as individuals who make responsible choices.

OASIS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CAMPUS

At Oasis International School, students are free to grow in a nurturing learning ecosystem. The main campus is located on

a sprawling 3 acre plot which is a short drive off Hennur Road in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This locale has many new facilities and a growing global populace. The school is surrounded by pristine nature with eucalyptus groves, wheat and maize fields, vineyards, floriculture farms and flocks of birds flying by everyday. We have possibly one of the biggest International school campuses in North Bengaluru. The school building is designed in contemporary style by a globally renowned architect.

The design of Oasis International School is under observation by an international jury for an architectural design award in Europe.

The infrastructure is state-of-the-art, with all facilities to ensure a truly world class learning experience. This includes large, brightly lit classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, IT facilities, ample play areas, junior and senior libraries, counselling centres, learning labs, amphitheatres, playgrounds, basketball court, sick bays and a canteen.
