Declarative• A declarative sentence simply makes a statement
or expresses an opinion. In other words, it makes a declaration. This kind of sentence ends with a period.
We get lots of snow in the winter. .
Example
ImperativeAn imperative sentence gives a command or makes a request .It usually ends with a period but can, under certain circumstances, end with an exclamation point.
Clean your room .

Exclamatory
An exclamatory sentence is a sentence that expresses great emotion such as excitement, surprise, happiness and anger, and ends with an exclamation point.
I won a million dollars!

Interrogative• An interrogative sentence asks a question. This type of
sentences often begins with, who, what, where, when, why, how, or do, and it ends with a question mark.
What time do you get up in the morning ?

Simple• A simple sentence has the most basic elements that
make it a sentence: a subject, a verb, and a complete thought.
Apples are red.

Compound
• A compound sentence refers to a sentence made up of two independent clauses(or complete sentences) connected to one another with a coordinating conjunction. Coordinating conjunctions are easy to remember if you think of the words “FAN BOYS”.
• For• And• Nor• But• Or• Yet• So
Complex• A complex sentence is made up of an independent
clause and one or more dependent clauses connected to it. A dependent clause is similar to an independent clause, or complete sentence, but it lacks one of the elements that would make it a complete sentence.
While he waited at the train station, Joe realized that the train was late.

Compound ComplexA compound-complex sentence is made from two independent clauses and one or more dependent clauses.

• Incomplete or unfinished part of a sentence that never finishes the thought or idea of the sentence
