TRINIDAD & TOBAGO TEAM
VOLUME 4 : ISSUE 4 SEP.OCT.NOV 2017
Wycliffe at the First Church of the Open Bible Missions Conference: Mark 16:15
From the 30th September-1st October, Wycliffe Caribbean
operated a presentation table at this Conference.
Brochures were given out. The Finish Line prayer guide
info was circulated and several books on missions bought.
Interested persons also signed up for the newsletter and
missions. We do appreciate these invitations and look to
our Lord for the fruit, as we continue to serve the Bible-less minority people.
SCRIPTURE VERSE: Rev 7: 9 - 10 . 9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could
count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.
They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out
in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb”.
Vision 2025
We embrace the vision that by the year 2025, a
Bible translation project will be in progress for
every people group that needs it.

Annual Convention 2017—Victory Heights
Wycliffe was present at the AEBC (Association of Evangelical Bible Churches) annual convention, which ran from the 22nd –24th September. It was a lovely time of worship, bonding, discussions etc. Wycliffe conducted a missions presentation table at this lovely event, and the Thrift store sales, with funding for Wycliffe projects in mind, were also in motion.

We celebrate the life of Pastor Barclay Elliot, who went to meet the Lord on November 8th. He was the Pastor of the Great Commission Bible Church and father of three, including Celicia and Shanna Elliot, two of our Wycliffe Caribbean T&T missionaries. Pastor Barclay served on the Wycliffe Caribbean Board from 1996 to 2003. Within recent years, he served on the Next Step Camp planning committee and continued to be a great resource to the organization. We thank you for your continued prayer and support for his family. Romans 8:38-39.

No Longer Left in the Dark
A small team of deaf believers in Thailand is translating a set of chronological
Bible stories into Thai Sign language, so that the Deaf Community in Thailand
can access God’s Word. Pastraporn Sarakong is the
leader of the translation team. “God has put it on my
heart to obey him so that the Deaf are not left in the
dark, but can come to understand the Good News
and come to know God” she says. CLICK HERE FOR
