The as- sessors will begin working in the Village on Monday, September 15.     Each summer the Kohler GolfAcademy, with guidance fromthe PGA Sports Academy, uses afun, systematic approach toencourage long-term playerdevelopment offering three levelsof instruction to area youth. Theprogram focuses on five coreelements to help youth learn,develop and practice skills tobecome better golfers and enjoythe sport of golf.

    All 127 participants wereexposed to the fundamentals ofgolf including short game, longgame, putting, rules andetiquette. The objective of theprogram is for each child to learn

    to play golf and have fun in theprocess. At the conclusion ofinstructional sessions, the KohlerGolf Academy team and golfcourse staff hosted players andfamilies for a JuniorChampionship challenge andreception on July 27 at WhistlingStraits.

    Our annual JuniorChampionship was memorablewith notable winners in severalbrackets, said Todd Wagner,Kohler Golf Academy Manager.This finale to the JuniorAcademy is not only acelebration of all the kids haveaccomplished during their

    lessons but its also a great waythat we are able support thegrowth of the game of golf forthe next generation.
