We have been immersed in a fountain of love from my Bethel church
family on the passing of my mother. The numerous expressions of sympathy and the many cards of condolences were overwhelming. I miss everyone so much and I thank God for Bethel.
Lovingly, James and JoAnn Wright and Family
We extend our warmest sympathy to Sis. Kenae Ford, Sis. Laverne and Sis. Shannon Pearsall and the family of Joan Shaw who are grieving the loss of loved ones.

The Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League James H. Gilliam Sr. Fellows Program for young people of color had a successful third class, so we are opening up applications for the 2021 class! The program focuses on young people of color (between 22 and 40 years of age) who wish to push forward racial and economic justice throughout Delaware. Fellows learn how to write legislation, advocate for their issues, run for office, and how to build a narrative of urgency. Fellows have come from a range of backgrounds including PhD students, public allies straight out of college, community activists, and lawyers. They engaged with a range of speakers including Dr. Tony Allen, Attorney General Matt Denn, Ms. Raye Jones Avery, Dr. Patrice Gilliam-Johnson, Chief Magistrate Alan Davis, and Secretary of State Jeff Bullock. For more information on the program check out mwul.org. Do you know anyone who may be interested in this opportunity?
