If you suspect your child has been exposed to COVID-19 or is experiencing two or more of the above symptoms,

we highly recommend that you request a PCR test. We have noticed a high rate of false negative results in the

rapid test. Home COVID-19 tests are not accepted by PISD.

***Please keep in mind that a fever is not always present with a positive

Covid case.

Thursday, October 7th!

Plano ISD’s transportation department has created a webpage where information about buses running more than

30 minutes late is shared.

The page link is www.pisd.edu/latebus.

It is important to know that buses will still go by all the bus stops to pick up students.

Delays are due in part to nationwide staffing shortage. The Plano ISD transportation department is diligently working to hire bus drivers and pay was increased to $21 an hour. Paid

training is offered. Bus assistant jobs are also available.
