September Full Moon Ritual(Remove physical and emotional Clutter)

Items needed

4 Candles, 2 each ofBrowns and greens, earth tones (White may be substituted for any and all colors)

Paper and Pen/Pencil

Fire Proof Bowl

Cakes & Ale (Your Choice)

Matches or Lighter

Set up

Green Candle (AIR)

Brown Candle (EARTH) Brown Candle (FIRE)

Cakes & Ale Green Candle (WATER) Fire Proof Bowl

Within Reach: Paper and pen/pencil, matches or lighter

Pre Ritual Instructions

A long warm bath may be done just prior to starting the ritual.

Circle Casting

Starting in the east and going in a clockwise circle to the south, Hold out your index finger

out in front of you. Visualize a white light going around you and say:

As this circle is cast, let all negativity be gone.

Repeat phrase in the west and north while visualizing your light getting even brighter.

Repeat two more times and on your third turn to the north say:

This circle is now cast. So Mote It Be!

Corner Calling

East

Light Green and say:

Watchtowers of the east, bring your power of protection to this rite tonight. Hail and

Welcome!

South

Light Brown candle and say:

Watchtowers of the south, bring your power of protection to this rite tonight. Hail and

Welcome!

West

Light Green Candle and say:

Watchtowers of the west, bring your power of protection to this rite tonight. Hail and

Welcome!

North

Light Brown Candle and say:

Watchtowers of the north, bring your power of protection to this rite tonight. Hail and

Welcome!

Invocation

Hold hands up toward the sky and say:

May the Lord and Lady be with me this night. Hail and Welcome!

Ritual work

Take the paper and pen/pencil and write down the things that are cluttering your body

and mind, then say: (Examples of clutter; thinking of bad things that happen in the past,

toxins in the body, etc.)

I now cleanse all the clutter of my mind, body, and soul. Everything is now fresh and new

by the powers of the Lord and Lady. So Mote It Be!

Fold the paper now AWAY from you 3 times; light the paper on fire, using the candle in the

West direction (Earth), and place in fire proof bowl. If any do NOT burn, relight it with the

same candle. (BE CAREFUL!!!! Dont get burnt!)

Cakes and Ale

Hold up your cake and ale and make a toast to the Lord and Lady by saying:

I toast to your honor tonight Lord and Lady.

Now take and eat of the cake and drink ale.

Thanks to the Deity

Hold your arms up again toward the sky and say:

Thank you Lord and Lady for being here at this rite with me tonight. Hail and Farewell!

Releasing the Corners

Snuff or blow out the candle in the correct directions.

North

Watchtowers of the north, thank you for being here tonight. Hail and Farewell!

West

Watchtowers of the west, thank you for being here tonight. Hail and Farewell!

South

Watchtowers of the south, thank you for being here tonight. Hail and Farewell!

East

Watchtowers of the east, thank you for being here tonight. Hail and Farewell!

Opening the Circle

Going reverse now and starting in the north, with your index finger out in front of you,

going in a counter clockwise direction to the west, see your light growing dimmer and say:

This circle is now opening.

Repeat phrase in the south and east. Repeat above two more times and on the third turn to

the east see you white light go out and say:

Now the circle is open.

Ritual Ending

Merry ye meet,Merry ye part,

Merry we meet again.

Post Ritual Instructions

Take ALL ashes, wax, water, and salt and bury in the ground for an offering.
