2015 Florida Library of the Year
All throughout September, Broward County Libraries will celebrate Makers Month with free, fun events for the whole family.The highlight will be a free, all-day S.T.E.A.M. Maker Festival on Saturday, September 26, from 10AM TO 6 PM at the Main Library. The festival will feature programs, makers from all over South Florida, a robot demonstration and workshops. Broward County Library has received a Latino Americans: 500 Years of History grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association that provides funding for a series of events focusing on the history, traditions and cultural contributions of Latino Americans.
