Two key concerns – two research tracks
• Supporting empathic interaction• Need for skill enhancement
Aim: developing a game-based training environment, where mental healthcare
professionals can enhance their skills in using eHealth tools.
Main game properties (based on user requirements analysis)
• Support well-defined learning goals
• Right balance between educational and playful content
• Provide the experience of added value eMental Health
• Joint activity that is interactive and challenging, but without competition

• Field study on small scale to investigate feasibility and requirements for implementation and upscaling
• 4 workshops including a focus group and questionnaire
• Explore possibilities for further development
Track 2:
• Further development of prototype and field study with practitioners to investigate added value in
practice
• Lab experiments to increase our understanding of the interpretation of biosignals and the experience of
biosignal sharing
