Enhancement Description
1. Alerting for PanHash seed changes
Enhancement
In the event that the PAN has seed has been set and is changed, an e-mail alert is sent out.
Alerting can be configured on the Monitoring > Store Status > Store Status Monitoring Alert Configuration page. On that page, you may enter the specific e-mail addresses to receive the alert.
2. Alerting for MCC changes
Enhancement
Alerting is now supported for any change to the defined Merchant Category Code assigned to a lane.

3. Authorizer supports Multiple connections to host
Enhancement
Each instance of the Authorizer can now open multiple sockets to the host instead of just one.
This allows load balancing for Tandem.

Enhancement Description
4. Abort BIN import alert if record count change exceeds a threshold
Enhancement
An alert is generated for the NCR Operations staff and the BIN import is halted if the change in the number of BIN records exceeds a configured value.
This alert is used to aid in catching an incomplete BIN file prior to deployment.
Once the Alert is issues, Operations staff will review the BIN and import process manually to determine if the BIN file is complete.
5. Add Verify Fee property to 'g' TAC
Enhancement
Added a property to the ‘g’ Fee Amount TAC that will cause OpenEPS to prompt for customer verification of the fee amount.
6. Add OK Partial Approval Property to '>' TAC
Enhancement
Added a property to the ‘>’ Send Transaction TAC that will prompt the customer to approve the partial authorization amount.
7. Add Dual EBT Prompt property to ‘L’ TAC
Enhancement
Added a property to the ‘L’ Customer OK amount TAC that will display a Dual EBT Prompt that shows the EBT and non-EBT amounts for customer to approve.
When active, the Dual EBT Prompt will only display during EBT transactions.

8. Add new Override Type to Tender Selection: NA
Enhancement
Added a new override (soft) decline type of NA (Need Additional Information) that will trigger when a decline code of 25 is received.
The default sequence for this soft decline is:
o S - Secondary ID
o 7 - Secondary D Type
o W - State Code
o w - Customer Name
o y - Date of Birth
9. Add 'b' TAC to the manual card sequence TAC list
Enhancement
Updated the ‘B’ Slide Card TAC’s Manual Sequence option to contain and allow the configuration of the ‘b’ Verify Card TAC.
10. Add Prompt for Odometer Option to Card Processing Profiles
Enhancement
Added a new option to Prompt for Odometer to the Card Processing profile. This setting is off by default.
When checked on, this setting will cause OpenEPS to prompt for the vehicle odometer reading value during the transaction.
11. CPP option to suppress signature, not saving amount
Fixed
Corrected an issue where the Card Process Profile value for the option to skip signature for transaction under the specified amount was not saving the amount entered.
12. Add NE and NG decline types
Enhancement
The NE (Soft Decline – Re-Enter MICR), and NG (Soft Decline – Re-Enter MICR and get customer ID) decline types have been added to the Override Tender Type.
These declines are automatically populated with the default TAC sequence when added.

13. Add "Loyalty Cards" to the Allowable Card Prefix Table
Enhancement
Loyalty Cards have been added as a defined card type in the Allowable Card Prefix Table.
No default ranges are specified for this card type.
14. Add attribute to "O" TAC. Prompt Prior to Total
Enhancement
Add Prompt Prior to Total attribute to "O" Signature Capture TAC.
This will cause the terminal to prompt for signature even if the total transaction amount has not been received by OpenEPS yet.
15. ReversalType 'A' for AVS Reversal; Show Reversal Type in Transaction Detail
Enhancement
In the event that a transaction is declined at the POS due to a non-matching AVS response, OpenEPS will send a Reversal Type value of 'A' to notify Connected Payments that the reversal was due to an AVS response.
Connected Payments will display these in reporting as Reversals instead of TORs. Both column header and the transaction details have replaced “TOR” with “Reversal”.
On the transaction details page, if a reversal type is indicated (Reversal is Yes), a new line called Reversal Type will display, with the type of reversal listed.
16. Open configuration with double-click
Enhancement
Users can now open a selected unlocked configuration with a double click, instead of being required to select the Open button.
17. New “Decline Business Card PO# Req” Processing Option in Lane Configuration
Enhancement
A new option “Decline Business Card PO# Req” Processing Option has been added to the in Lane Configuration.

18. Add new "Soft Approval” code AP
Enhancement
A new “Soft Approval” code of AP (Approved - PO# Required) has been added to OpenEPS. When the POS receives this response, the POS should supply the Purchase Order number for the transaction before calling transaction complete.
19. New option to “Allow retry of verify last 4
Enhancement
A new option to “Allow retry of verify last 4” has been added to the Card Processing Profile.
To use this option, it must be checked on in the Card Processing Profile and the “b” VerifyCard TAC must be in the Transaction Sequence, with its Verify Last 4 Card Digits option flag checked on.
20. Support 3 Digit Lane #'s
Enhancement
Added Support for 3 digit lane numbers.
On the Lanes Definition page, at the bottom, is the new option to “Allow 3 digit Lane numbers”. When checked, this option will allow the entry of any lane number from 1 through 999.
When the “Allow 3 digit Lane numbers” option is checked, the keyword "MaxLaneDigits=3" is automatically added to the Setup Text page.
The following notice is displayed when turning on 3 Digit Lane Numbers:
By checking this option the retailer should be aware that the lane will be limited to 1000 unique transactions a day. For current customers making this change you must edit the Setup.txt at each POS lane with the keyword MaxLaneDigits=3 in order for a seamless transition to take place. If this is a new installation please use the current OpenEPS installation, available on the web portal, this will provide an option for the customer to turn on 3 lane support during OpenEPS installation and will remove the requirement to manually update the Setup.txt.
Three digit lane functionality is not supported with FuelEPS."

21. O TAC, Show Disclaimer Text option
Enhancement
The new option to display configurable disclaimer text has been added to the “O” signature Capture TAC.
The default text is: Charge Total: ~D I agree to pay the transaction amount in accordance with my card agreement.
22. Add new prompt to "Misc Prompts" for P.O. #
Enhancement
On the Misc. Prompts Tab of the Terminal Configuration, a new option to configure text for P.O. # Required has been added.
The default text is: Enter P.O. Number Please Wait
23. Return CVV2 and AVS Results to OpenEPS
Enhancement
AVS-related Responses from hosts that support AVS are now returned to OpenEPS to be provided to the POS.
AVS responses may now be evaluated at the POS level to determine if the transaction should be reversed.
24. New Store Monitoring Alert: Lane Memory Utilization
Enhancement
Added new Free Memory (%) Alert that can be set to provide an alert email if there is not enough free memory on the POS lane.
Default values are a Warning at 10% Free Memory, and a Critical Alert at 5% Free Memory remaining. Values may be modified by the user.

25. New Store Monitoring Alert: Module Hash Mismatch
Enhancement
Added new OpenEPS DLL Hash Mismatch Alert that can provide an alert e-mail if the DLL at the POS lane does not match the expected hash value or file size.
Monitoring this alert can provide early information about a DLL module that may have been corrupted or compromised.
26. Tender and transaction columns not printing
Fixed
When printing from transaction search, the information from the Tender and Transaction columns was not being printed. This has been corrected so that all columns print correctly.
27. Return ServerEPS CardType code
Enhancement
The ServerEPS Card type is now returned to OpenEPS during a response message.
28. Store Monitoring - Show Last Cashier Sign On
Enhancement
If the status information from a POS lane contains the last time/date that a cashier signed on to the POS lane, that time/date information will now be displayed in the Store Monitoring, Lane Information screen.
29. Improved loading Store Monitoring page
Enhancement
The speed of loading the Store Monitoring page has been improved. Previously there was potentially an extended delay when loading the page for large companies.
30. Prevent sending unsupported non-numeric cashier number to host
Enhancement
If a non-numeric cashier number is received from a POS lane where the host the transaction is to be routed to does not support non-numeric characters in their cashier number field, the cashier number field will be dropped (not sent) when the message is sent to the host.

Corrected an issue where if a Lane on the WebClient was deleted via Store Monitoring and error email would be sent.
32. New Online eWIC State code of MA
Enhancement
Added the new online eWIC State code of MA for Massachusetts.
Massachusetts is expected to begin piloting Online eWIC on July 1, 2014.
33. Processor: Add EntryMode of 'CO' for eCommerce
We need to add a new EntryMode of 'CO' for eCommerce (Computer Order). Also need to map that entry mode to eCommerce in the Vantiv host interface.

The Processor can now support parsing of the track data message created by the VeriFone e335 device
2. Hypercom Enhanced Signature format
Enhancement
The Hypercom Enhanced Signature format is now supported.
This is currently supported only with the VeriFone e335 terminal.
3. Add 'Verishield Enabled' check box for MX terminals
Enhancement
Added a new "Verishield Enabled" checkbox on the terminal configuration of the Store Configuration Manager for all MX terminals.
This option is off by default. It should be configured ‘on’ when using Verishield terminal encryption (TAVE).
4. TAVE: Sequence number is sent correctly but different in the tap header
Fixed
Corrected an issue with TAVE where the sequence number is sent correctly in the initial message, but was being set differently for the tap header. This has been corrected so that all instances of the sequence number are the same.

Corrected the transaction code sent to the host for an offline Gift Card transaction.
The updated codes are as follows: Offline purchase is a unique code of 92. Normal online code is 80. Blackhawk offline activations is 85. All other gift card activations use the online code of 86. All other offline gift cards use the online processing code for the appropriate transaction request.
2. Settlement totals didn't include proprietary card

Corrected an issue where the settlement total for the Concord H&C host did not properly include proprietary card.

Enhancement
Added a "Program ID" field to the Card Prefixes page, for Checks.
The Program ID is passed to the Data Center to assist in routing the transaction, if the Program ID is defined for the given check prefix in the card profile.
To route payroll checks to Certegy, the Program ID should be set to: CRTGY
7. Certegy Payroll Check Enhancement: SS# entered at PIN Pad
Enhancement
Add new “Entered and PIN Pad” option to the “x” Social Security Number TAC.
This option will allow the configuration of either single-entry, where the value entered is accepted, or double entry where the customer will be required to enter the number twice, and OpenEPS will compare the two entries for duplication, and if they are not identical will re-prompt twice more before failing.
Prompting for Social Security # on the PIN pad will only occur after the POS has set the Amount value for the transaction.
8. Certegy Payroll Check Enhancement: Add new TAC "#" under sequence code
Enhancement
Added support for the new “#” 2D Barcode TAC for use with Certegy Payroll checks. This will allows the scanning of a Driver’s License for enrolment.
The default for the Check Types Requiring 2D Barcode setting for the “#” TAC is for Payroll only to require 2D Barcode.

Merchant Category Code & Pan Hash Seed Change Alerting
Alerting for a change to the Merchant Category Code or PanHash Seed is configured on the Monitoring >
Store Status > Launch Monitoring Configuration... > Store Status Monitoring Alert Configuration page, on
the Company Tab. On the line provided, enter one or more email addresses that the alert will be sent to.
Any time a Merchant Category Code is changed, or Pan Hash Seed is changed, an alert will be sent to
the defined email addresses.

The Final Tender transaction 'finalizes' any of the other GC transactions performed during that order.
Specifically, if another GC transaction is performed, it is treated as an 'advice' where no funds are moved
until an additional Final Tender transaction is processed, with the same POST Trans #.
