Content.
BMW Electronic Service History.
� BMW Electronic Service History� The electronic Service History can only be applied for BMW cars. BMW Motorrad,
MINI, Rolls Royce as well as other brands are not supported by BMW‘s electronic Service History.
� The electronic Service History for a BMW vehicle is only available, if relevant CBS services (e.g. engine oil, brake fluid, front/ rear brakes…) have been fulfilled and uploaded to the central BMW database (FBM) since feature availability as of January 2011. Otherwise the electronic Service History will be empty.
� Entries of the electronic Service History can be corrected or canceled within 7 days, after creation. A correction or cancellation can only be done by the dealership, who created the original entry.

Correction and cancelation
Content.
Enter the vehicle identification number.
� Enter the vehicle identification (17 characters or the last 7 characters) in the blank field
� Then click the <Find VIN> button.
Process steps
Central vehicle data and order base.
� To create a Service History record, click the button “Order base / inspection ”.
� The empty order base is displayed.
� Click the button “Service data”
Process steps
Service data selection.
� Select the maintenance scope, which should be performed at the customers car.
� Enter the mileage reading and check the maintenance date.
� Then click the button “Order base ”.
Process steps
Order base check.
� The order base contains all pre-selected CBS positions.
� Double check the maintenance scope and add, if appropriate a comment.
� Then click the button “Create Service History entry ”.
Process steps
Decleration of conset and transfer.
� Please inform the customer unmistak-able about the declaration of consent.
� Only, if the customer confirms the declaration of consent, activate the checkbox
� Then click the button “OK”.
� The data is now going to be uploaded to a central BMW database.
Process steps
Printout of the Service History certificate.
� The data will only be transferred to BMW’s central system, if the customer did agree to the declaration of consent.
� Simultaneously with the transfer, a Service history certificate will be generated, for the printout.
� Double check the successful data upload via the button “Central vehicle data ” at the top.
Process steps
Check the Service History.
� Check your entry via the “Service history ” screen.
� All successful uploaded Service History entries are listed.
� As to check the details for an entry, click on the corresponding “Maintenance date ” hyperlink.

Correction and cancelation.
� Correction� Via the correction function, it is possible to alter existing Service History entries.� A Service History entry can only be corrected within a period of 7 days after its
initial creation.� A Service History entry can only be corrected by the dealership, who created the
original entry.
� Cancelation� Via the cancelation function, it is possible to delete existing Service History
entries. � A Service History entry can only be canceled within a period of 7 days after its
initial creation.� A Service History entry can only be canceled by the dealership, who created the
original entry.
Correction or cancelation of entries.
� Check your entry via the “Service history ” screen.
� As to correct or cancel an entry click on the corresponding “Maintenance date ” hyperlink
� The lower part of the screen are containing the buttons “Correct entry ” and “Cancel entry ”

� To correct an entry click on the button “Correct entry” .
� Add or remove maintenance positions.
� The fields “mileage reading” and “maintenance date” can’t be altered.
� Add, if appropriate a comment for the correction.
� Click the button “Create service history entry ”
Check the correction.
Process steps
� While the corrected entry is transferred to BMW’s central system, a corrected Service History certificate will be generated for the printout.
� Now check your corrected entry via the “Service history ” screen.
� As to check the details for the corrected entry, click on the corresponding “Maintenance date ” hyperlink.
Cancelation of a Service History entry.
Process steps
� To cancel an entry click on the button “Cancel entry ”.
� Confirm the securityquery “Are you sure you want to cancel this entry ?” with “Yes”
Check the cancelation.
Process steps
� After confirming the cancelation, the “Service history ” screen is visible.
� The former entry is no longer listed and has been successful deleted.
