Yesterday, I found a book about life in the past. It stated that 200 years ago, there was no
electricity and mobile phones. I wondered how people lived without these basic necessities!
How
did they keep track of each other? Did they go to sleep as soon as it got dark? I planned to
find out as much as I can. History, after all, was my favourite subject. I asked my friend if
she would help me research more about this subject. She agreed! After the research, I
prepared a list of all the things that we have but people in the past did not. It helped me
understand the difference between my life and the life of people 200 years ago.
