Seven Mountains Scout Camp,
Outdoor Education
& Conference Center
Seven Mountains Scout Camp offers a
unique blend of modern conveniences in a
rustic setting.
Located midway between State College and
Lewistown, just off US 322 on Seven
Mountains, this 230-acre facility is adjacent
to state land including Poe Valley State Park
and the Mid State Trail.
Each summer more than 1,000 young Scouts
converge on Seven Mountains for 7 weeks of
summer camping. Each January, this number
is equaled for our Annual Scout Klondike
Derby.
This facility is available 7 days a week, 52
weeks a year to Scouting and non-Scouting
groups. Churches, schools, non-profits, and
business groups have used it for conferences,
outdoor/environmental classrooms, retreats
and more.
Photos and more information are also
available at www.jvcbsa.org. For more
