IntroductionThis portfolio is a required task for competenca lingstica, it consists of a folder with 5 tasks developed during the semester, a description, a letter, a postcard, a story and an email. In order to learn more about the process of writing each of these tasks, a PPT presentation was shown to us every class. Afterwards wepreparedthe ideas and started thinking about what we wanted to write, we were ready to start writingour first draft. Once the draft was ready it had to be reviewed by one of our classmates (peer evaluation) and the teacher, so that we could continue working on our improved and final version. The purpose of each of these tasks is to improve our writing and get to know the characteristics of each type of text, beingquitehelpfultowardsour learning experience and future use of these texts in real life as English teachers.

ReflectionWhen the teacher told us about this project I was excited about it because I have never done something like this before. It was quite interesting to get to know more in detail about the types of texts people all around the world use to stay communicated. First, I start wondering what I want to write about, which it takes quite a while, and then I think about what my characters are going to be called, most of the inspiration I get for names come from books I have read or songs I have listened to. Once my draft is ready I start reading it several times, to make sure it has coherence and there are no grammar mistakes. The most difficult thing for me was finding inspiration to write, because we just had a couple hours to get everything done, so it was challenging for me. What I enjoyed the most was the environment that was created in class, everyone were so focused on their work. The peer evaluation was my favorite, some of my classmates asked me to review their work, it was interesting reading all of their work and helping them. Because of this portfolio I am now able to organize ideas in a better way, my vocabulary has improved and I am getting better at grammar.
