    HolidaysBabysitting

Our synagogues membership now includes over 75 children (and counting!). Children are welcome in the sanctuary for services as we trust that parents will be considerate of other attendees. If children are not in the babysitting program, they must be under the direct supervision of an adult. ParentsmaystillusetheChildrensRoomwiththeirchildreniftheyhavenotreservedaspotinbabysitting. In an effort to provide a safe environment for children and ef9icient use of resources, advanced reservations are required plus a $5 per child per service fee for High Holiday babysitting.

    In case of emergency

We hope this information wont be needed, but it is certainly better to be prepared. Please take note of the two emergency exits located on either side of the bimah. In addition to these exits, there is an outside exit in the social hall and at the end of the hallway leading to the bathrooms. If an evacuation is necessary, do not congregate in the parking lot or front of the building to allow for emergency vehicles. Please proceed calmly to the playground, and assist those who may need help. Those in the Childrens Room have instructions to meet parents at the playground. In case of a tornado, the safest places to be are the bottom of the basement stairwell or in the basement away from windows.
