HYDRAULIC TORQUE COUPLER

Infinitely adjustable hydraulic coupler with slip-fit components provides ultra-secure clamping of shaft elements while allowing a reduction in shaft diameter and design. Riverhawk also offers a mechanical torque coupler for a cost effective means of clamping shaft elements.

TORQUE BLOCKER

The Torque Blocker protects heavy duty critical equipment from torque overload by releasing when a preset load is exceeded. There is no sacrificial hardware to replace and machinery is allowed to coast down safely. Reset is simple and quick.

The VRD can be adapted to any coupling.

HYDRAULIC MOUNTING EQUIPMENT TENSIONING SYSTEMS

HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION KITS

Two integrated hydraulic pumps and gauges, pressure tested to full capacity, provide a lightweight, easyto- carry unit capable of both high (35,000 psi) and low (10,000 psi) pressure conditions.

AIR DRIVEN HYDRAULICPRESSURE KIT

The Riverhawk air-driven hydraulic pump kit utilizes input air pressure of 80 - 100 PSI to generate a high-pressure output. Incoming air is filtered before it enters the system. An air regulator is used to provide any intermediate pressure required within the limits of the output range of the pump allowing the pump to hold at any predetermined hydraulic pressure. Simple and safe swivel fittings are used to connect the equipment being pressurized.

EXTERNAL STUD TENSIONER

The stud tensioner eliminates the inaccuracies associated with torquing. Riverhawk tensioners offer flexibility and versatility through modular designs that incorporate a wide range of stud sizes.

HRT TENSIONING SYSTEM

Recognizing the specific need for tensioning designed for high ambient temperature and minimum envelope ap-plications, Riverhawk offers the Hydraulic Rod Tensioning System. No longer of con-cern are design limiting considerations such as temperature, seals, lubricants and coatings. In addition, the HRT System is designed to retrofit directly into existing installation requirements.

THE CASING ALIGNMENT PIN (CAP)

Designed to reduce assembly time while increasing safety when dealing with misaligned casing bolt holes. Convention-al bolt alignment methods consist of bolt torque sequencing or hammering studs which is time consuming and could lead to damaged components. The CAP gives you the ease of a drop in installation but also providing you with the angular force necessary to correct misalignment.

HYDRAULIC SAFETY INTERLOCK TENSIONER (HSIG)

Our newest tooling has a hydraulic interlock design which renders it inoperable if the clamp is not properly secured. It utilizes the Riverhawk patented hydraulic rod tensioner design which helps with a lower lift weight. The HSIG (Hydraulic Safety Interlocking Guard) has separable components which make them easily replaced for less down time. The implemented “dead stop” prevents over stroke and it also has over pressurization protect. .

TALON CROSSHEAD NUT

Riverhawk Engineering has incorporated distinctive design features within the traditional hydraulic nut to prevent piston rod bending and fatigue failures. The Talon produces enhanced preload repeatability for improved compressor life. This hydraulic crosshead nut supplies uniform loading on the crosshead bearing face to provide long life to the pis-ton road and crosshead slide. Meets API 618 Specifications.

PEREGRINE TENSIONER

Lightest weight and smallest overall diameter of bolt tensioners amongst its capability. Offers spring return piston that eliminates the need to press piston back after each use. Implemented over stroke stop that prevents seal damage and leakage that also has a visual color coded indicator to identify an over stroke. Standard sizes cover stud diameters 1”-4”.

HYDRAULIC PUSHER ANDPULLER ASSEMBLIES

Riverhawk has developed a full line of hydraulic pushers and pullers to accommodate any shaft end and coupling configuration. The tools are designed specifically for your application and provide full pull-up capability. These items are made from hardened alloy steel, are pressure tested prior to shipment from our facility and come to you completely assembled to include all seals and fittings to match your installation equipment.

CART MOUNTED AIR DRIVENHYDRAULIC PUMP

The Cart Mounted Air Driven Hydraulic Pump is an upgraded adaptation of the Riverhawk Air Driven Hydraulic Pressure Kit,which has been field tested and proven reliable. An output pressure of up to 40,000 psi is generated using an air input supply of 80-120 psi. Reservoir capacity is customized to suit the application.

ENGINEERED STUDS, NUTS AND BOLTS

Uniquely engineered with finite element analysis (FEA) and precision-machined for applications requiring strength and resistance to fatigue, temperature and corrosion.

HYDRAULICALLY FITTED COUPLING BOLT

This hydraulic fitted coupling bolt considerably decreases the time needed for flange assembly and disassembly. The result is trouble free installation and lower outage time. The Riverhawk design is reusable and particularly suited for retrofits.

EXTERNAL TENSIONING SYSTEM

This product provides a seamless transition from torqued hardware to tensioned hardware. Until now, it has not been possible to replace torqued hardware with tensioned hardware unless there was a significant amount of stud thread protruding above the nut. Historically, this transition involved replacing the stud as well but with the Riverhawk ETN this is no longer the case.

HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION KITS

Two integrated hydraulic pumps and gauges, pressure tested to full capacity, provide a lightweight, easyto- carry unit capable of both high (35,000 psi) and low (10,000 psi) pressure conditions.

AIR DRIVEN HYDRAULICPRESSURE KIT

The Riverhawk air-driven hydraulic pump kit utilizes input air pressure of 80 - 100 PSI to generate a high-pressure output. Incoming air is filtered before it enters the system. An air regulator is used to provide any intermediate pressure required within the limits of the output range of the pump allowing the pump to hold at any predetermined hydraulic pressure. Simple and safe swivel fittings are used to connect the equipment being pressurized.

EXTERNAL STUD TENSIONER

The stud tensioner eliminates the inaccuracies associated with torquing. Riverhawk tensioners offer flexibility and versatility through modular designs that incorporate a wide range of stud sizes.

HRT TENSIONING SYSTEM

Recognizing the specific need for tensioning designed for high ambient temperature and minimum envelope ap-plications, Riverhawk offers the Hydraulic Rod Tensioning System. No longer of con-cern are design limiting considerations such as temperature, seals, lubricants and coatings. In addition, the HRT System is designed to retrofit directly into existing installation requirements.

THE CASING ALIGNMENT PIN (CAP)

Designed to reduce assembly time while increasing safety when dealing with misaligned casing bolt holes. Convention-al bolt alignment methods consist of bolt torque sequencing or hammering studs which is time consuming and could lead to damaged components. The CAP gives you the ease of a drop in installation but also providing you with the angular force necessary to correct misalignment.

HYDRAULIC SAFETY INTERLOCK TENSIONER (HSIG)

Our newest tooling has a hydraulic interlock design which renders it inoperable if the clamp is not properly secured. It utilizes the Riverhawk patented hydraulic rod tensioner design which helps with a lower lift weight. The HSIG (Hydraulic Safety Interlocking Guard) has separable components which make them easily replaced for less down time. The implemented “dead stop” prevents over stroke and it also has over pressurization protect. .

TALON CROSSHEAD NUT

Riverhawk Engineering has incorporated distinctive design features within the traditional hydraulic nut to prevent piston rod bending and fatigue failures. The Talon produces enhanced preload repeatability for improved compressor life. This hydraulic crosshead nut supplies uniform loading on the crosshead bearing face to provide long life to the pis-ton road and crosshead slide. Meets API 618 Specifications.

PEREGRINE TENSIONER

Lightest weight and smallest overall diameter of bolt tensioners amongst its capability. Offers spring return piston that eliminates the need to press piston back after each use. Implemented over stroke stop that prevents seal damage and leakage that also has a visual color coded indicator to identify an over stroke. Standard sizes cover stud diameters 1”-4”.

HYDRAULIC PUSHER ANDPULLER ASSEMBLIES

Riverhawk has developed a full line of hydraulic pushers and pullers to accommodate any shaft end and coupling configuration. The tools are designed specifically for your application and provide full pull-up capability. These items are made from hardened alloy steel, are pressure tested prior to shipment from our facility and come to you completely assembled to include all seals and fittings to match your installation equipment.

CART MOUNTED AIR DRIVENHYDRAULIC PUMP

The Cart Mounted Air Driven Hydraulic Pump is an upgraded adaptation of the Riverhawk Air Driven Hydraulic Pressure Kit,which has been field tested and proven reliable. An output pressure of up to 40,000 psi is generated using an air input supply of 80-120 psi. Reservoir capacity is customized to suit the application.

Uniquely engineered with finite element analysis (FEA) and precision-machined for applications requiring strength and resistance to fatigue, temperature and corrosion.

HYDRAULICALLY FITTED COUPLING BOLT

This hydraulic fitted coupling bolt considerably decreases the time needed for flange assembly and disassembly. The result is trouble free installation and lower outage time. The Riverhawk design is reusable and particularly suited for retrofits.
