1) Land clearing

• To remove bushes & existing trees.• Cost depends on the condition of the land.

2) Land leveling

• To make sure that each polybag/plant get same amount of water.

3) Building infrastructure (store/ tank house)

• Store to keep equipments, fertilizers, pesticides.• Tank house to locate tank system.• Farm workers’ accommodation.

4) Install silvershine/ weed mat/ used carpet

• Weed control method.• Different material, different price.

5) Fill up polybags with cocoapeat

• Cocoapeat as a medium for plant’s root to grow.• Can also use “sekam padi bakar”

6) Install pipings

• Polypipe is used to transfer water & fertilizers from tank to polybags (plants)

7) Arrange polybags

• Proper spacing is required.• Different plants will have different spacing requirements.

8) Install tank system

• Tank system contains tanks, pump, filter, timer and valves.

9) Install plants support system (netting)

• Poles and netting are required to support the plants.• Different plants require different net setup.

10) Transplant from trays into polibags

• Transplant when plants are ready.
