Mechanical Intern Propulsion and PDU Specialist- Orbital ATK 2014-2015Micro Satellite mission and spacecraft conception, development, design, and sourcing. Part of the 6 member engineering team tasked with mission concept development, mission selection and finally design and implementation as part of a senior exchange with ASU. After consulting a large number of factors a mission profile of orbital debris extraction was selected. The team divided into sub –assemblies and designed, built, and sourced components from current public manufacturers. This resulted in a satellite design that utilized commonly available aerospace parts and can be assembled. The assembly and testing time was drastically reduced and the satellite fulfilled a 100 kg mass and 5 million dollar price budget

Manufacturing Engineer - FMD Fabrication Services 2013-2014Experience with Eci Solutions M1 ERP software including process selection, job creation, scheduling, cost analysis, quoting and inventory management. Engineering drawing creation in Solidworks. Determined appropriate processes for manufacturing involving machining, welding and coating operations. Development of inventory system in the warehouse. Design of fixtures for CNC milling operations. Led value engineering projects to increase profit and simplify manufacturing. Trained fabricators and machinists on the floor in the proper use of the ERP shop floor entry software and Solidworks Edrawings. Collaboration with Quality Assurance in MRB, RMA assignment and resolution through rework or replacement, the disposition of nonconforming product and implementation of corrective action and ISO 9000 certification
