Either a T52 Strike-master - air to ground attack fighter which operated in the Oman - no longer fitted with machine guns and rockets. A Side-by-side two seater; Live ejection seats non-pressurised cockpit; single engine viper jet original camouflage Oman colours, dual controls. Leaving North Weald, Essex, much of the flight will be conducted around the coast at low level of North Kent, climbing from Reculver and dropping down over the level of the sea, Sandwich and Deal to Dover, climb to normal operating height where my passenger will have the opportunity to fly the aircraft themselves - returning to North Weald at low level we will be restricted to around 300 miles per hour. The other aircraft is a Jet Provost Mark VI (P) Prototype Dual controlled pressurised aircraft - this is a famous aircraft used by the RAF and the International Jet Test Pilots School at Boscombe Down and was the last Jet Provost to be sold by the RAF into civilian hands. This aircraft has a slightly larger cockpit for people of a more height or muscular build. The flight time and destination would be the same as the T52. It will be necessary for the Charity Donor who wins this prize, be dressed in full combat suit, bone dome, May West etc. and a flight safety briefing of at least an hour before flying. Feel free to bring wives or girlfriends to take photographs to enjoy the day. Of course, weather concerns are most important; in particular we need good visibility due to the high speed and low level mission

A pair of Arsenal Diamond Club tickets

The auction prize that Lord Harris has donated is a pair of Diamond Club tickets which include a three course meal in the Raymond Blanc Diamond Club restaurant plus champagne and bar as described on the attachment.

I cannot give you an exact cost of the tickets but we would usually put a reserve price of approximately £2000 for the pair. It is truly an exceptional experience from the wonderful food and service given to the leather armchairs on the terrace to watch the match. Children are allowed but obviously it may not be suitable if they are too young.

The match is to be agreed as some matches i.e. Man Utd, Chelsea etc. may already be allocated and we don’t want people to be disappointed. I usually ask for the lucky winner to give me a list of three matches in order of preference (they can check out the fixture list at Arsenal.com as matches have a habit of changing due to Sky and cup ties etc.) and we try our best to accommodate as best we can although it’s not always possible. However it is such a luxurious prize that the match becomes almost an added extra!

This is what people describe as a super yacht. It is a large boat, 3 double cabins, two showers and toilets. Good size lounge and galley area, all of these are on the lower deck. As you all know we had a golf charity day in July to raise money for Mackie Reed who suffers from SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). Mackie is the son of Luke Reed who is the Manager of our Orpington 99 store and last Wednesday Lord Harris presented the cheque to Luke and his partner Hayley. Lord Harris also made a further personal donation which meant our final total raised was £20,000! Furthermore, I would like to thank Dave Garbett and the Friends of Shelby Newstead Trust who made a sizeable donation towards the final figure.

You can all be very proud for the efforts you made in raising money for what is a great cause. Luke and Hayley have asked me to thank you all for your support as it is very much appreciated and will allow them to ensure Mackie can have the many things he needs to enjoy life to the full.
