Still Open All HoursSaturday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning August 25This warm-hearted updating of Roy Clarke’s classic British comedy Open All Hours delivers another serving of (almost) fresh groceries, banter and barmy customers. David Jason leads the cast as grocer Granville, who has inherited the small corner shop from his beloved Uncle Arkwright, who is gone but not forgotten – not least in the tricks of the trade he passed on to his apprentice. On hand to help out with the oddball customers and eccentric requests is Granville’s dashing son Leroy, a good-looking young man who has more female admirers than Granville ever had and no intention of doing things his father’s way. The shop is the setting for endless mishaps and a mix of memorable new and returning characters.
