Following success with previous car showroom display projects including BMW Westminster, W&Co were invited to produce a range of light boxes for a new state of the art showroom in Mayfair, London - BMW Park Lane. A selection of illuminated and non-illuminated fabric face displays were custom made to showcase a wide range of classic and modern BMW models on display. The frameless, chrome finished units, many LED illuminated, compliment the high quality brand and create a stunning backdrop within the contemporary showroom space. One particularly large format Fabric Face LED light box, within the Motorrad display area of the

showroom, reaches five and half metres high and spans two floors of the building! The lightboxes were chosen not only for their high quality build and frameless design, but also because they offer the client the flexibility to easily replace and/or reuse the dye-sublimation printed textile graphics. W&Co Fabric Face systems offer a front loading graphic change whereby a rubber lip easily pushes into the face of the unit by hand without the need for specialist tools or installation teams. HL PPE, the UK’s leading supplier of retail and brand display solutions, is providing a solution to the issues of how to maximise shelf space and give every product optimum visibility with the launch of its NEXT™ customisable cross bar pusher system. Due to its versatility, the NEXT system offers a highly effective solution for merchandising bulky or awkward shaped items, including bagged salads and frozen pizzas. It enables retailers to remove shelving and accommodate more stock per square metre. NEXT features expandable and

customisable side supports that allow selling space to be optimised and keep goods faced up at all times, whilst eradicating the problem of products getting lost at the back of the shelf. Featuring different types of sides and a range of accessories, the NEXT system can accommodate most products. A simple lock and release function on the pusher housing makes refilling quick and easy, helping retailers reduce the amount of time their staff need to spend managing and maintaining displays.

“HL PPE is known for producing innovative solutions to the problems faced by today’s retailers and the NEXT cross bar pusher system, surely one of the most versatile available, is further evidence of this,” said Duncan Hill, Managing Director. “As we all know, how products look on a display is of paramount importance in terms of driving sales – unattractive displays simply put shoppers off. What NEXT does is make it possible to ensure that those traditionally difficult to merchandise fixtures, even within the frozen food category, can not only be kept neat and appealing but

also take less time to maintain. “From pizzas to sweets, and herbs to seasonings, NEXT can take any awkward shaped product and merchandise it effectively. It enables retailers to gain more space, reduce product shrink due to spoilage, reduce the time needed to manage the offer, improve product visibility and increase sales.” Contact: t: 01279 412345 e: [email protected] w: www.ppe.co.uk

imageHOLDERS, one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of iPad & tablet kiosks, enclosures and exhibition stands have recently launched their new line of enclosures known as the iHOLD range. These unique display solutions have become their best selling range due to their versatility and patent-pending concept which allows any type of leading tablet on the market to be securely enclosed within the unit; thus allowing customers the flexibility to choose a tablet or iPad that best suits their business needs. Interactive enclosures and kiosks are fast emerging as one of the most sought after marketing and communication tools for all business sectors worldwide. The integration of tablet technology and continual software development of Apps allows audiences to engage with companies in a way like never before. By teaming this technology with an iHOLD enclosure, companies have reported an increase in business productivity and sales: “imageHOLDERS provided us with an excellent system to market our multi-platform mobile app development service, driving traffic and engaging customers” says David Weaver, Oakley Global Business Solutions Ltd. The iHOLD range comprises floor standing, wall mounted, counter top and counter mounted models in a variety of colours and bezel/fascia shapes. Each can be customised with corporate branding and accessories to further enhance the customers’ brand identity. Security & Cable

Management: imageHOLDERS have integrated a key operated lock that keeps the tablet secure and provides a recess in the back of the enclosure. This allows for additional cable management and space to discreetly contain HDMI cables.

Rotation: The iHOLD range incorporates mounting brackets that allow the bezel to rotate 180 degrees. This means that it is possible to use the tablet in either portrait or landscape format.

Patent Pending Design: The iHOLD enclosure comprises an injection moulded plastic holder that can accept any tablet by use of a tray mechanism that slides into the enclosure from the side.

Wireless Connectivity: All iHOLD enclosures are designed to ensure the contained devices

can easily connect to WiFi signals Materials: The iHOLD range is

made from acrylic, aluminium and ABS – one of the most versatile plastics on the market thanks to its rigidity and strength. ABS is also easy to clean making it ideal for specific business sectors where hygiene is top priority.

Have you been thinking about selling your business but just can’t decide if now is the best time? Do you find yourself repeatedly analysing the economic situation and wishing you had a crystal ball? There are positive signs and there are negative signs…. If you’re still up in the air and can’t quite decide whether or not to hit the eject button, here are six reasons you might want to consider getting out now. 1. You’re less interested in fighting the good fight A lot of business owners took the Global Financial Crisis in the teeth. If you’ve got your business stabilised and the prospect of possibly having to fight through another recession leaves you

panic-stricken, it could be time for you to get out. 2. The worst is behind you Let’s say you were mentally ready to consider selling a few years ago, and then 2008 hit and 2009 was bad, and in 2010 and 2011 you made cuts and adjustments, and now you’re seeing some profit and revenue growth. With your numbers going in the right direction, now might be just the right time to make your move. 3. The tax man is coming Governments around the world are looking for money to fund the cost of an aging population. At some point this will mean increased taxes. 4. Nobody is lucky forever If you’re lucky enough to be in a

business that actually benefits from a bad economy, congratulations... you’ve probably just had the four best years of your business life. But no cycle lasts forever and right now might be a great time to take some chips off the table. 5. The coming glut As a business owner, demographics are not on your side. As the baby boomers start to retire in droves, we’re going to have a glut of small businesses coming on the market. That’s great if you’re buying; but if you’re a seller, you may want to avoid the flood and head for higher ground now. 6. The closing window Since 2008, it’s been tougher for private equity companies to raise money; so many firms had their last

successful round of fundraising a number of years ago. Many of these funds have a five-year window in which to invest or they have to give the money back to the people who gave it to them. Some boutique private equity firms will make investments in companies that have at least one million dollars in pre-tax profits (larger private equity firms will not go below $3 million in EBITDA); so if you’re in the seven-figure club, you could get a bidding war going for your business among private equity buyers keen to invest their money before they have to give it back. Featuring an international cast of five girls and three boys, The Sojourners captures the easygoing attitude of a new generation of globe-trotting fashion nomads, for whom a life lived in-transit is par for the course. The male line-up consists of Brazilian superstars Diego Fragoso; a catwalk staple for a host of super-brands including Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, and Armani favourite Arthur Sales – a model who once had an entire issue of L’Officiel dedicated to him. The word “expert” is frequently overused these days, but one company that can well and truly claim to be experts in their field are Filplastic UK Limited, celebrating 20 years of supplying the Builders Merchant trade with a wide variety of showroom, yard and warehouse equipment. For some it may have been just a few of their ubiquitous wire baskets, for others it has been a complete design and build of a new branch. “ We have certainly formed a special relationship with merchant trade” says Filplastic Managing Director Paul Taylor “and we all love the challenge of finding a way to store or display the most awkward of product ranges” he added. When the company started 20 years ago all they sold were wire baskets and plastic bins but mainly down to customers’ requests Filplastic have grown to supply everything from timber sheds, mezzanine floors down to welcome mats.

They’ve recently launched a new website, www.filplastic.co.uk, and have new plastic shopping trolleys in stock – prices from £11.69 each + VAT + delivery 360° wheels Made from recycled plastic (black
