According to the ABWA National, “Your vision statement should passionately proclaim the desired state of your Chapter when it has realized its full potential.    President’s Message/President’s Message/President’s Message/President’s Message  Hello ABWA Sisters,     I was so honored last month to have been named as a Top ten candidate for our chapter. Thank you all for your support, it means so very much to me.    The Regional Conference in Safety Harbor was amazing. We had a great keynote speaker on Thursday that gave us all a beautiful jeweled crown pin to remind us that we are all queens. We followed that up with a great evening catching up with our past president Maureen Rulison, who moved there last year after her term was up. She picked a great restaurant and then showed us around Dunedin with a little history lesson, so fun. Friday everyone got to hear Barbara's speech and was once again mesmerized. She did a fabulous job and had everyone in tears. She was also asked to run part of the breakout session on Saturday for Best Practices on Member Retention, great Information from all four of the women that taught us. Although I learned a lot of valuable Information that I can use not only in our chapter but in my business as well, the one thing that really  resonated with me was  from our keynote  speaker on Saturday  that  ran our  full day of lessons. "You can not make everyone happy, you’re not Pizza."  It reminded me of the challenges we all face and the desire to please everyone in our business, our home, our organizations we're In. So, we must at least try our best but just remember we're not Pizza!    Mary Florence is putting together a fun Bunco night for us on April 18th at Children in Crisis. They have so kindly offered to let us use the space once again. It is $5 to play and we ask that you also bring an item for CIC as a donation. The wish list of needed items is on the back of the flyer that you can pick up at the meeting or one will be emailed to you as well.

Next month at our May meeting we will have elections for the 2019‐2020 term that begins August 1st. It Is very important to our organization to continue to grow and offer support to all members that we have a great board and committee chairs as I have been blessed with this year.  This Is also a great opportunity to learn new skills, develop leadership skills and to get to know you’re ABWA  sisters better.  It  Is  also  a  great way  to help  steer our  chapter  in  a direction of continued  learning, growth and even change. So, please consider what  role you would  like  to participate In and let your nomination committee know.   The Women Empowering Women Symposium Is just around the corner, we need everyone to purchase their ticket as soon as possible. Remember, as a member you are eligible to a vendor table for the cost of the ticket. A great way to promote your business or organization. Also, please take the flyers and hand them out to all the women you know that should come to this event, you can also email  the  flyer or  share  It on  facebook.  If you’re not able  to attend, you  should  still purchase a ticket and give  It away to someone who can. Please get with Dawn Novy  for more Information.  "Make a Difference."
