Cats was an awai-4 winning musical on Broadway, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber "Cats" is all about singing and
dancing with no spoken dialogue. The production is about cats who gather once a year to chose a member of the tribe to be reincarnated- The stories are told from "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" written in 1939 by T.S. Eliot. "Cats" has been translated into more than twenty different languages. It was first shown in London in 1981. It takes place in a oversized "junkyard during the night. All of the cats are called "Jellicles". At the end of the production, Grizabella was chosen to be the one that would be reincarnated and got to decend to the Heaviside.

Junior Connor Hall takes the stage as the Great Rumpus cat. He is the cat who
stoppe4 two neighbor 4og clans from fighting.
"It took me about a month to learn my lines", sai'4 Chan4a Crenshaw about the
preparation for being in the musical.
The flirtatious re4 queen, Bombalurina, was playe4 by Annie Keslowski. when
aske4 what ma4e her get into acting she sai'4 "l have always wante4 to be on
Broa4way, ever since i was a little girl."
How long 4o you think it takes for the whole cast to get rea4y<' It takes the whole cast three to four hours to be completely rea4y to go on stage. Almost all ofthe cats ha4 to have their faces airbrusbe4 with white paint. Instead of having the preparation be long an4 chaotic, Ben an4 Otto stop to have a little fun, while Liz an4 Anna make the finishing touches on the cast.
There were sixty-eight cats that performe4 in the production. All sat upon the stage during the introduction to the play.
