One of our top discoveries at this years Pulse was Belgin Bozsahins gorgeous ceramics, including her exclusve gft tems of light pulls and door wedges.

The hand shaped pulls and sturdy wedges are produced from high-fired porcelain, coloured and layered with her transfer designs.

These unque objet darts can offer a variety of practical use, i.e. wedges can be used as paper weights, and pulls add a touch of wit and humour to a cord anywhere.

Wonders is a new concept developed by designer-maker Erika Braccini. The first collection has been showcased at Pulse 2013 in London on the Launchpad area.Wonders is a brand that uses waste from PVC advertising banners to create attractive textile fabrics. It is made by using the colourful discarded banners as the thread, which is woven into a versatile fabric that is currently being used for cushions. My name is David Worsley and I am a potter making wheel-thrown ceramic tableware. My aim is to marry beauty with function to create a pot that is a pleasure to use. The pots are made by hand and wear that quality openly; the decoration all comes directly out of the process of the making. The pots are thrown using a white stoneware clay. The range comprises three colours, black, blue and old white, with each colour breaking across the surface of the pots to give a richness and depth. Tessa James: Fabulous And Inspirational Bracelets...

All Yas-Ming Ceramics are handcraftedin Britain using traditional techniques, in their Kent studio and in a small factory in Stoke-on-Trent. The main process used is slip casting, but press moulding and hand building techniques are also used. Moulds are made and then used to slip cast the animals, cups, bowls and dishes. Sequal aims to provide speech aids to those people who cannot afford to purchase such very vital equipment, to allow them to lead more independent lives and especially when Local Health Authorities are unable to help.

The devices required are many and varied, ranging from computer or laptop systems up to digitised/synthesised speech aids, page-turners or Eye scanners, at costs of up to 12,000.

Any individual with disabilities within this remit, solely in receipt of benefits or on a low income and requiring a communication aid, can apply to us for assistance either personally, through a friend or family member or by referral from their Speech and Language or Occupational Therapists.

Once a fundraising campaign has been launched for an individual and proved successful, the equipment is provided with Sequal remaining responsible for all necessary repairs and upgrades for the life of each particular device.

With some of the latest technologies and services in the market on show, the cluster of events attracted senior buyers, production engineers, supply chain managers, strategic sourcing teams, designers and engineering directors from sectors that included aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, medical equipment, energy, electronics and machine building. A significant number of orders have been placed and exhibitors report high levels of good-quality enquiries. 57% of space has already been rebooked for Subcon 2014 - the UKs national subcontracting, advanced manufacturing and technology show.
