sr: Kamps-Hollow Weigland AJ-ET is a great

show cow from a family known for their high in-

dexes. Born August 2008, AJ is a daughter of the

well-known show type bull Wilcoxview Jasper. Her

dam is an Excellent-90 Champion and direct daugh-

ter of the famous Kamps-Hollow Altitude.

Brr c: Ryan Weigel - AJ has been

the standout cow for both type and production since

calving as a two-year-old. Fresh with her third calf

in January, AJ peaked at 145 lbs. per day and has

held close to that ever since. She was raised to EX-

93 just three days fresh and I think

theres more points in her. As with

many of the Altitudes, AJ keeps get-

ting better with age. AJ has daugh-

ters in the Weigland herd by Alexan-

der, Braxton, Dempsey and Damion

and calves coming by Aftershock,

Atwood, Braxton and Windhammer.

Shes short bred to Atwood and will

be IVFd again after conrmed pregnant. AJ has full

sisters in Europe and embryos exported. Also inter-

esting to note, AJ developed from some non-freez-

able No. 2 and No. 3 embryos that were put in at

Weigland due to lack of recipients at Kamps-Hollow.

Alisha. Alisha sired by Gibson was the start of a very

successful story of the Ashlyn cow family at Siemers

Holsteins. It all began with a purchase of 10 embryos

from Ashlyn, which resulted in Alisha and four other

females of which one turned out to be EO Siemers

Ashlyns Angel-ET EX-96 GMD. The Goldwyn ush

from Alisha hit a home run producing Siemers Alisha

Gold Ava-ETS, who besides a beautiful show cow is

also a massive producer making a 365 day record of

56,330 lbs. of milk with 4.1% 2301F

and 3.3% 1865P.

Ava is special in the fact that she has

been nominated for Junior All-Ameri-

can and All American in many different stages of her

development, as a heifer, young milking cow, mature

cow and last as a 125,000 lb. production cow. She is

a great milk cow that always looks beautiful and is

super to work with. Ava never misses a beat and she

has become the pet of the barn. She is also trans-

mitting which is important to her future legacy. We

sold a Sid daughter this spring in Wisconsin that was

an awesome calf. We are proud of the notoriety she

has brought to the farm, carrying our prex is im-

portant to showing what our breeding program can

produce. Ava is not done yet, she is taking a year off

and will be bred soon for pregnancy.

EX-90-2E-CAN. Angelina is the Champion maternal

sister to Eastside Lewisdale Gold Missy EX-95-

CAN; so it can be said that she has a tremendous

show pedigree. The genomic index of Rae Lynn alsoshows a great type number with +16 for Conf. and

+2437 GLPI in Canada. Rae Lynn was purchased at

the age of 11 months at the Island Heat Wave Sale,

she was a long, tall really well balanced heifer.

Brr c: Ari Ekstein Rae Lynn is a

dream come true for all of us at Quality. Anytime you

buy a young heifer you always dream that they will

calve out with a great udder. Rae Lynn

fullled and exceeded all of our ex-

pectations. When we brought her out

as a milking yearling there was a lot

of interest in her. We are thrilled that

we were able to keep a part of her andown her with such great partners. We

are hoping she will make it to the Royal again this

year on the same lactation. She is fresh since last

October and still milking over 100 lbs. per day. She

has a tremendous appetite and an amazing natu-

ral will to milk. One of Lynns best characteristics

is that she looks the same every day. Cows like her

are easy to get ready at a show, ll her with feed

and milk and she does the rest. We plan to calve her

out again next spring and anticipate that she will be

on the money to contend with the best in 2014.

Currently, Rae Lynn has an Atwood and Lauthority

daughter housed at Quality that carry high genomic

numbers for type and GLPIs of +2690 and +2398.

from our home bred cow family from a VG-87

Damion from an EX-93 cow family. In Decem-

ber Al-Be-Ro Holsteins purchased a part in this

heifer and after that she won the Jr. Champi-

onship at the European Show in Fribourg. Until

so far we have a Alexander son and we flushed

her to Aftershock and McCutchen and try to get

her pregnant so we canshow her at the Italien

National Show in 2014 in her 2nd lactation.

in her class and won Best Udder. Her udder and

dairy character are some exrtremely strong

points of Delicia with a tremendous udder tex-ture and rear udder. She is doing great for us,

with a Dude son went to Ascol in Spain and a

beautiful 8 months old Sid dtr we have on the

farm. She is currently in flush program, first

flush will be to Doorman.
