We had a very busy week last week with Healthy Harold coming to visit us. Students were all very well behaved and participated in the activities sensibly. A big thank you to Rae for once again sharing her knowledge of all things healthy!!! Science and Engineering Day Year 5 and 6 students are going to be participating in a Science and Engineering Day at the Henry Lawson High School on Friday 21 st August. Students will be placed in groups and given tasks to complete, with the support of Year 9 and 10 students. Students have received their notes about this. If you have not, please contact the school. Silo Excursion On Friday, students from K-6 visited the Caragabal Silos to help us learn about the processes involved within the silos and how they meet farming needs in the community and Australia. A big thank you to Miss Patton for organising the excursion and also to Mr Miller for showing us around. Young Farming Champion visit On Wednesday the 19 th August, Daniel Fox, the Young Farming Champion will be visiting our school. His role is to teach us about the grain Industry for Art4Agriculture program. Daniel will show the students a few Youtube clips and will have them participate in hands on activities on the day. He will be here from 9.30- 11.30am. We are all looking forward to his visit. Jeans for Genes Day On Friday, students and staff participated in Jeans for Genes Day. As a result of this event being very well supported, we raised $45. Thank you everyone for your support.
