Silo measuring technologyWith the reliable measuring tech-nology
from leading manufacturers (completely cabled in the terminal box
located in the silo skirt) you will always have an overview. The
programme comprises minimum and maximum level indicators(optionally
with alarm), continuous filling level measurement , silo weighing
systems and control cabinets up to silo control systems. By the
way: for visuali-zation of the silo filling levels a silo
management system can be used which transfers the data to internal
and external systems.

9Ultrasonic level indicator:For touch-free and continuous
control of filling levels, suitable for granular bulk solids and
those giving-off dust.
Filling level control and visualization
Visualization:Always everything under control: All relevant
information concerning your silos can be recovered from modern
software.
Silot (electromechanical plumbline gauge):For virtually
continuous control of the filling level, suitable for granular up
to highly dust evolving bulk solids. A starting impulse lowers the
measuring cable with the contact weight by means of a cable winch
in the silo.
Rotary paddle type limit switch:For use as maximum level
indicator (assembly in the silo roof) or for indication of minimum
or inter-mediate filling levels (assembly in the silo shell or silo
cone). Housing made from die-cast aluminium, measuring blade and
blade shaft made from stainless steel, protec-tive tube made from
aluminium. Optionally an explosion-proof type is also
available.
Vibration limit switch:For use as maximum level indicator
(assembly in the silo roof) or for indication of intermediate or
minimum filling level (assembly in the silo shell or the cone).
Housing made from die-cast aluminium, extension arm made from
stainless steel. Optionally an explosion-proof type is
available.
Load cell:Reliable and simple possibility for continuous
weighing of a complete silo. Independent from the type of bulk
solids (powder or pellets) the silo contents will be recorded by
load cells.

From your point of view this means an optimum surface finish for
your silo, resulting in optimum flow properties and maximum
strength.
Water torch: Fast precise powerful. The water torch cuts
aluminium plates up to approx. 200 mm and steel plates up to
approx. 150 mm with a pump pressure of 4100 bar.
