This means that the problems created when your old x-ray system is depended on for timing…the most crucial part in the digital image creation… is eliminated. This creates the vast majority of service issues in DR retrofits.

When the vendor connects his DR panel to your old x-ray generator and then further couples it by calibrating it to that generator, everything in the complex digital image creation sequence centers around the oldest part of the system!

These old x-ray generators will make x-ray but the timing accuracy and repeatability are nowhere near what is required for a good image time after time. We control the whole process and have sole responsibility for the result. No blaming the x-ray machine or the x-ray tube. It is all on us.
