1.Introduction

WiththeSiteMonitoringKit,ELPROprovidesaclever,easy-to-installtemperature

monitoringsystemincludingalertingforremotelaboratorycabinetsandrefrigerators/

freezers.TheautonomousSiteMonitoringKitoffersareliable24/7alerting,and

observescompliancewiththeregulationsofGMPandFDA21CFRPart11.

TheSiteMonitoringKitconsistsofthefollowinghardware:

- LIBEROPDFLoggerTe1-NthatautomaticallycreatesaPDFreportuponconnection

toaUSBportofacomputer.Atemperatureprobewithathinflexibleribboncable

whichadaptsperfectlytothegasketsofanylaboratorycabinetandenablesan

installationbytheuser.

- Athermaldampertoavoidfalsealarms

- Abattery-operatedalarmbracket,whichprovidesanaudibleandvisualalarmsignal.

Optionally,thealarmcanberoutedtoanexternalalarmingsystem.

Ifrequired,theLIBEROPDFreportcanbeanalyzedanddocumentedindetailbymeans

oftheelproVIEWERsoftware.

3.Preparation

BeforeinstallingtheSiteMonitoringKit,

thefollowingitemsshouldbeconsidered:

5.Preparationoftherefrigerator

Important:

Inordertoreachbestpossibleadhesive

strength,thecabinetshouldbewarmedup

toroomtemperature,cleanedanddried

beforeanypartsaremounted.


4.Installation

Oncethepreparationiscompletedandall

applicablesettingshavebeenchosen,the

SiteMonitoringKitcanbeinstalled.

Installationoftheflexibleflatcableprobe

Leadthecablebetweenthedoorand

housingofthecabinet.Mountthecable

insideofthecabinet.

- Cleananddrymountingsurface

- Removethepaperfromthe

adhesivetape

- Fixtheadhesivetapebyfirmlypressingit

againsttheinnerrefrigeratorwall

Mountthecableoutsideofthecabinet

accordingtothechosenpositionofthe

alarmbracket.

- Carefullyclosethedoor

- Slightlypulltheflexibleflatcable

tostretchit

- Cleananddrymountingsurface

- Removethepaperfromthe

adhesivetape

- Fixtheadhesivetapebyfirmlypressing


Installationofthethermaldamper

Beforethethermaldamperismounted,

adjustthecablelengthandsorttheextra

cablelengthwiththecablemanager:

Unwindcableandslidetemperature

probeasfaraspossibleintothethermal

damper

Usethefirstholetolockthecableand

leadittothebackofthecablemanager

Windanyextracablearoundthecable

manager

Usethesecondandthirdhole

toholdcabletightly

Placethethermaldamperatthedesired

position.

tightenthesilverlocknut.

Usetheadhesivetapetomountthe

alarmbracketandfixitbyfirmlypressing

itagainsttherefrigeratordoororoutside

wall.

«START/Transit»buttonfor3seconds.

Temperaturevalueappears,functional

checksuccessfullyperformed.

Toendthetest,pressthe«STOP/Arrived»

buttonfor3seconds,thetemperature

valuedisappears.

Ifnotemperaturevalueappears:

- VerifywhetherLIBEROisfullyplugged

intothealarmbracket

- Verifywhethertheconnectionbetween

- Repeattest

withtheadhesivetapeandproceed

5.Startofoperationandmonitoring

Important:

Beforeloadinganymaterial,cooldown

thecabinet.Thismaytakeseveralhours.

Inordertostartthedevice,pressthe

«START/Transit»buttonfor3seconds.

Makesure«Transit»appearsinthedisplay;

thisindicatesthealarmconditionsare

active.Makesurethatatemperaturevalue

appearsinthedisplay(currenttempera-

ture).

Ifastartdelayhasbeenconfigured,

thedisplaywillshow«dELY»andthe

PDFloggerwillautomaticallystartlogging

temperatureafterthesetdelaytime

haselapsed.

If«n.c.»(notconnected)isdisplayed,

checkinstallationandconsultchapter9.

Alarming

Assoonastheconfiguredalarmlimitshave

beenexceeded,theLIBEROdisplaychanges

fromOKtoALARM.

Thealarmbracketistriggeredwithin10

Theself-adhesivenotepadismounted
