Click on the :
Start a Drawing, Part 1
NOTE:You will be provided with a digital copy of this lesson after the tutor has talked you through the slides which will enable you to click on the hyperlinks and have a go yourself: simply hold down control and left click the links when prompted to do so by your tutor
Click onto ‘Self paced tutorials
Scroll down the page and you will see the ‘Start Drawing Part 1’ link
Hit the ‘ Download now’ button
Select the ‘sketchup 6’ version
Select the ‘Open’ Tab
Select the ‘Start using Sketchup’ Tab
Click on the numbered Tabs along the top of the page
Don’t worry if your version of sketchup looks slightly different
You will be taken through an animated tutorial
Moving through the tabs at the top, you can interact with the screen
Copy every command as it appearsTo the left of the screen
Select the rectangle tool
Click on the first point and drag to the second finish point
Then simply click on the next tab at the top to advance the tutorial
Complete the entire ‘Part 1 tutorial’
before moving on to the next slide in your learner presentation
Start a Drawing, Part 2
Click on the link to access;
Part two
Hit : Download model and open
Complete the entire ‘Part 2 tutorial’
before moving on to the next slide in your learner presentation
Start a Drawing, Part 3
Click on the link to access;
‘Part three tutorial’
Hit : Download model and open
This is an image of the completed tutorial
Click onto ;
Choose Template
1. Scroll down the side bar2. Select ‘Architectural design - Millimetres‘3. Click ‘ Start using Sketchup’
