RE: Jim Crow style behavior and

Disenfranchisement of

MC COLE – Hammer’s Den, 1810-1822 W. Fond du Lac Avenue

Greetings Ms. Dupriest!

This is the first direct communication to you as a Milwaukeean, taxpayer, home

owner, neighbor, and representative with YMCA-CDC & St. Paul Neighborhood

Association.

Ethics Review

On October 10, 2014, I was present for the Walnut Way, 1834-36 W. Fond du

Lac Avenue property for a neighborhood meeting for Class B Licensees.

As I stated then, and support now, MC COLE should be given a “chance”. He

was attacked at the meeting and the people around the table reminded me of

when the same RACE of people faced red-lining for housing and integrated

marriages during Jim Crow. The eliteness was so thick that it has shown a light

on deceptive and “improper” behavior that was present that night and since.

This email is to allow you as the head of the organizations you represented at

the October 10, 2014, October 18, 2014 and October 20, 2014 to reply in

writing “your objections” to MC COLE’s Class B license.

Is your organization involved with the $3million funding of Johnson Park?

Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC is pursuing Ethics

accountability methods according to the charter officers of the city of

Milwaukee. And, we are most concern with the appearance of conflict of

interest and breach of Public Trust.

MC COLE

MC COLE is an investor, property owner, and my client, per my invitation at the

October 10, 2014 meeting.

He has fulfilled Class B compliances that the city put forward:

All departments.

Paid over $7,000.00 in 2013-2014 property taxes.

Invested over $88,000.00 in the property to date.

Paid $1,100.00 in Class B License.

Project a minimum of 6 full-time jobs in first project – Tavern.

Project a minimum of 10 full-time jobs in first and second projects –

Tavern and Restaurant.

Housing – two-2 bedroom apartments.

Petition support from neighbors and 19 Letters of industry support.

An Emerging and Vetted business implementation.

MC COLE’s Hospitality business plan calls for 3 separate developments.

We are now in the timeframe for MC COLE to capture Hospitality revenue

during

November, December and the New Year. He has been treated unfairly and

unjustly.

He deserves a “Chance”.

We need your response by Monday, November 17, 2014, noon. This will meet

other deadlines already in play.

I am available for clarity.

Ms. DuPrest, our laws do not allow the vigilante takeover and isolation shown

over the last three (3) weeks. We abhor the behavior but see it as an

opportunity to correct some “long overdue” issues in the 15th and nearby

districts.

Appearance of Conflict of Interest

Breach of Public Trust

Since the course of events have exposed some troubling behaviors from

members of the neighborhood that are foreign to “due process”, but are

against the law in Ethic, my office is contacting those on the point that

Alderman Russell Stamper noted in his comments at the October 20, 2014

meeting where he placed MC COLE’s Class B license on “HOLD”.

With U.S. Constitution Amendments 13 & 14 in mind,
