India s electricity demand has been growing at an average annual rate of 6%during the last 5 years. This has been accompanied by a considerable surge inthe fuel price in India. As the fuel price directly results in power tariff increase(ranging from 20-80% hike), the power consumer has to be now more prudenttowards their energy consumption, than ever before!

The existing SCADA system used for energy monitor ing today, are wired, highmaintenance, and extremely expensive, and do not provide customized billingand consumption data.

To meet the burning need, Ecolibrium Energy has launched Smartsense, an ITenabled infrastructure consisting of smart and self learning devices which canmonitor and control the energy consumption of an entire Industry, commercialestablishments or a Home, helping them cut down their energy bills.

Smart Sense is the broad array of compl etely wi reless and cloud host ed energym anagem ent system and services, which we deliver to the Industrial andCommercial Establishments providing tracking of the individual consumption byvarious equipments and appliances placed in the industry or building.

The system comes with customized energy alerts through SM S or E-M ailinforming the customer about its energy bills and the factors responsible for it.

The data is not only monitored, but also analyzed by the smart sense Analystteam which is formed by certied Energy Auditors, leading to suggestions forreducing the electricity bills, leading to a healthier bottom line!

CASE STUDIES

Hitachi India used smartsense to t rack the consumption of their admin

office. A review and subsequent steps performed by the SmartsenseAnalyst team lead to the following results:

Reduction in overall consumption, by effective management Total savings due to reduction in consumption during weekdays is around90-100 units per day (around 25% ). Annual savings (Consideri ng 300weekdays) amount to approximately Rs. 1,20,000.The savings during weekends and holidays amount to around 50 units perday (around 25% ). Annual savings (Considering 65 weekdays & holidays)will amount to approximately Rs. 13,000.
